Town hall northeast elevation The town hall should act representatively, unambiguously and stably. At the same time, it should fit in into place, do not stick out unnecessarily, only draw enough attention to yourself according to the corresponding function. It is necessary for a town hall that has to serve the people/citizens, to be extroverted in some way, to communicate with the street and the town, but still retain its vigour and stability.
From a compositional point of view, it is three volumes connected by air facade. The first volume forms the first above-ground floor, which is inserted into the depth of the building. There is a large windows facing towards the street, a sense of extrovertedness of the building, its connection to the street and town. The second volume, the second ground floor, is contrastingly extended into the space, closer to the street, the mass extends beyond the citizens whom the street is supposed to serve.
Town hall longitudinal section
The color of the facade is dark gray to black contrasting with wooden prisms in air fasade. This type of fasade is especially important for the amount of heat in the interior that need to be moderated especially in the summer months. Since it is set forward a few centimeters from building, creates an even stronger feeling of lightening of the upper floor. Individual elements of the proposed facade can be manualy rotated according to the need for light in the interior.

Swimming pool
The volume is designed in such a way that it differs from the orthogonal shape of the nearby housing estate. Designing in the natural wealth of forest park allows strict lines to be relaxed into soft curves. The design is characterized by the use of a dome as the main design principle. Bubbles or drops of water expand in the areas, they have different sizes and types of lightning according to the function they represent. The circle, as a perfect shape of the whole, is flexible in floor plans, it can be rotated as desired. _
The space without edges offers a panoramic view of the landscape. The composition of the circles allows the greenery to enter the corners of the mass, which is thus closer to the visitors of the swimming pool and summer swimming pool. Domes spread freely on the plot, creating space for greenery and activities suitable for semi-shade. The complex of objects is composed for the possibility of phasing.

Each bubble consists of reinforced concrete columns 3 metres high. On the top of these is a reinforced concrete lintel around the circumference of the circle, on which glulam beams are clamped. In the main pool hall they are 200 mm wide and 1 000 mm high. At the very top is a ring also made of glulam, 7 m wide in diameter. Diffusion glazing is found in the top of the dome, also in the middle, and finally clear one is all the way around the perimeter between the columns. The facade is consist of sandwich panels, the roof structure is double-skinned. The construction is the same in all the other domes, varying the dimension of the columns according to their size.

The proposal is characterized by the protruding rounded conoids from the terrain, which open to the view of the surrounding country, Labe river and Strekov castle. The mass is placed near the water and is divided into smaller pieces of the program, which is based on the fine structure of the surroundings and at the same time creates a view on the river in irregular rhythm which is appearing and disappearing from road and railway. The basic longitudinal mass changed to curve that creates a rhythm both in the site plan and elevation. The greenery is here as much as possible as part of the surrounding wealth. Dominants in the area are strong, the proposal makes them stand out, it does not compete with them but elevates them. The final volume is solid, continious amd seamless to create the building like a sculpture, harmoniously blending into the natural background.

The mass of the building is gently placed on the land, the circular shape of the designed building of the Community Center follows the contours of the downhill. The sloping terrain from the northwest side decline into a curve, that create boundary of proposed project. During design process was important to create a good functional connection to the roads. One of the main design tasks is to create a depot for trucks and the other one is waste recycling, both of which require good access for vehicles to the building. Around the world are many known concepts of buildings with circle shape, which are closed to outside and on the other hand open inside as a form of an atrium, they are so-called introverted buildings. The proposed building also use concept of an atrium, but for exactly the opposite reason. Surrounding landscape is untouched by man, so the building is operated from inside the circle, that creates opportunity for views of picturesque landscape all around the building. This solution also take less built area, thanks to the efficient parking management around the circle. First floor functions are mainly vehicles and waste system located around atrium. The whole mass of the building rises between the inner atrium and curve of terrain from outside to the second floor ending with greenhouse, providing a wide-angle views of the lake.

Urbanism Žilina
Žilina town is known for its squareshaped plazas, but only two of them where preserved. I am returning this element to the designed site. Two main squares of the original size of 90 m and another 10 of half the size have been created. I strengthen the concept of the square as a public space for entertainment and recreation by creating specific housing blocks. The creation of building blocks is based on two contrasts - the corridor that escalates into an open space.
Urbanism Žilina concept The square evokes openness, airiness, relaxed space. While the corridor means movement, openness leads to slow down. The idea of functional layout consists of the location of offices and cultural houses. Since the railway track is located over the entire northern side of the plot, I propose to isolate this part precisely with office buildings along with public amenities. There are three cultural buildings on the site, two of them are already standing and will be preserved, the third one is a visual copy of the preserved building and form the heart of the proposed main square.
