A New Century of Innovation. Domingo, Juan and Cosme Beistegui (Beistegui Hermanos) began building bicycles in the Basque region of Spain more than 100 years ago. From the start, they were aware that having a lightweight and agile bicycle was an essential complement to the cyclist’s strength. With this idea in mind, they developed their bicycle brand into one of the most established and successful in the world of cycling. Since our inception, BH Bikes painstakingly engineers, designs, tests and builds bicycles that climb with ease, descend with confidence and always put rider performance and comfort out front. It’s no wonder BH Bikes won the first Vuelta a España in 1935, and has won it six times since. Today, BH Bikes capitalizes on a history of more than 100 years of setting performance standards in a sport inherently driven to innovate what we ride and race. BH Bikes has developed a specific line of higher performance bicycles that are lighter, stiffer and more ergonomic than the competition. We manufactured the first monocoque carbon frame weighing less than 800g, placing our frames among the lightest and most efficient in the world and creating a new category – Ultralight bicycles. Placing BH Bikes at the highest levels of the sport demands constant innovation. More recent trend-setting additions to the BH Bikes line include the first use of an extended seat tube, development of a class-leading 1.5” tapered carbon fiber fork in conjunction with Enve Composites, a patent pending cable guide system, and the development of our unique down tube cable channel, adding torsional stiffness to the frame while enhancing ride quality.
We’ve even worked to produce the stiffest and strongest derailleur hanger in the world. When it comes to BH Bikes product development, no detail is left untouched. BH prides itself on continually evolving its leadership in bicycle technology. We obsessively develop and test new products and technologies that consistently lead athletes to the podium. This dedication to innovation propelled the GC Aero to become the best-riding and performing triathlon bike on the market—highlighted by a slew of 1st-place finishes by the #1 ranked triathlete in the world; Eneko Llanos. The G5 also propelled BH riders to a Tour of California stage win and eight straight days in the Yellow jersey in the 2009 Tour de France. Success at the highest levels of the sport flows through the entire line of BH Bikes. We’re proud to leverage our deep history of bicycle innovation with modern obsession of research, engineering, design and development. Climb aboard a BH, and you’ll immediately feel how the vision and dedication of Beistegui Hermanos has informed today’s BH Bikes to lead you to the top.

BH Bikes has revolutionized the sport of cycling with the G5. This lightweight race machine is the most advanced road frameset ever built, and has proven successful at the highest levels of professional bicycle racing. Advanced molding techniques and tube shapes, along with proprietary Toray composite materials developed for Formula 1, result in a frame that is 810 grams (54cm), including the integrated seat mast and front derailleur hanger. Complementing the light weight of the G5 is its class-leading stiffness. Our aero cable channel, high-profile chainstays, and 1.5 tapered Enve Composites fork all add to the precision and strength of the G5. No detail was left untouched when designing the ultimate racing frame.
We even considered the smallest items on the frame, giving them huge performance advantages — a carbon front derailleur mount, slotted full carbon cable stops, and a revolutionary one-piece molded chainstay and dropout design, all drop weight and add considerable functionality to the G5. Technology, precision, construction and materials come together in the G5 to create the ultimate machine, capable of tackling the climbs of the Alpe d’Huez in the Tour de France, leading the peloton in the Giro d’Italia and precisely carving the descents of the Vuelta a España — delivering extreme stability and sprints with authority along the way.

Heir to the technological legacy of the G5, the all-new RC1 is designed for competition lovers. Building on the heritage of the G5, the RC1 blends the racing performance and fit of the G5 with an even smoother road feel. The RC1 features a non-integrated seat tube design, using the same monocoque carbon construction as the brand-leading G5, but with a slightly modified blend of premium Torey composites. Frame geometry on the RC1 frame mirrors that of the G5, with the exception of shorter seat mast heights designed to accommodate the 300mm arrow style seat post similar to that found on the current G5 model. The RC1 is available with Shimano 105, Ultegra, or a SRAM Red mix, weighing in at 15.5 pounds complete.
With a frame weight difference of only 70 grams over the G5, the RC1 is one of the world’s lightest race bikes, and maintains BH’s commitment to building the ultimate lightweight bicycles. The RC1 is the clear choice for those demanding a smooth feel on Pro Tour-level bicycle.

The 2011 BH Cristal is an all-new, world-class women’s race-specific frameset that sets a new bar for women’s fit, ride quality, performance and technology in the world of road cycling. The Cristal is the G5, performance-tuned for female riders. Like the G5, the new Cristal frame is comprised of proprietary Toray fiber carbon composites originally developed for Formula 1. The Cristal geometry and sizing are based on fit data from decades of design experience in Europe, input from cutting-edge road shops and top fitters across the US as well as direct feedback from our customers and race teams. The result is a light, fast, precision-handling women’s race bike that inspires confidence both in the corners and on the straights, while maintaining the incredible climbing characteristics that BH bikes are known for.
Combining the expertise of BH Spain and BH USA, we have more than 100 years of knowledge and expertise to put into this incredible women’s design. The Cristal’s ride quality and stiffness can be appreciated by any female cyclist ranging in level from the weekend warrior to the top pro rider.

The Prisma is a pro-level race bike paired with maximum fit and comfort for the everyday rider. The Prisma features an all-new lightweight frame design with G5 features and technology such as monocoque carbon construction and full carbon dropouts. Weighing in below 1100 grams for the frame — and 400 grams for the fork — the Prisma can boast being in the same weight range as some of the finest racing frames in the world, yet at a surprisingly low price. The design and construction of the Prisma continue BH Bike’s tradition of delivering the lightest road bikes in the world at every price level. A taller head tube design with an aggressive top tube slope provides the enthusiast rider with a comfortable fit, excellent stand-over clearance and maximized performance for a wide range of rider sizes and abilities.
To provide a high level of torsional and sprinting stiffness equal to the G5, the Prisma features BB30, oversize chainstays and down tube, and a 1.5 tapered head tube and carbon steerer. The carbon lay-up is designed to provide excellent vertical compliance that smooths road vibrations and increases rider comfort, while maximizing the Prisma’s torsional and side-to-side stiffness for optimum efficiency.

The GC Aero is the ultimate triathlon weapon — a machine with true triathlon geometry that effortlessly slices through the wind, yet remains extremely stable under power. We spent countless hours getting the fit right on the new GC Aero, consulting the best fit experts, retailers and journalists in the sport. Combined with optimized head tube heights for a comfortable aero tuck and maximized wattage output, the GC Aero sets the standard for speed and efficiency. The GC Aero’s directional composite molding allows us to achieve the sleekest of wind-cheating profiles while increasing the frame’s torsional stiffness for precision corning and sprinting. The efficiency of the GC Aero isn’t limited to just its sleek profile — its massive blade-shaped seatstays and chainstays ensure all your power is translated into forward momentum.
The GC Aero has been tirelessly tested in the wind tunnel, and race-proven to excel in the world’s most demanding events — from the lava fields of Kona to the grueling Race Across America to the TT stages of the Tour de France. Its pulse-quickening ride was taken to a second place finish in Kona by triathlete Eneko Llanos. Let there be no doubt the BH GC Aero is a fast, race-proven, wind-cutting tri machine with the fit and performance designed for winning.
