Edgeworth
This month's pixel hike is taken in Edgeware, a virtual 3d space owned by Brenda Quorzar, which is found within the virtual world of InWorldz. http://inworldz.com/ If you are not already a member of InWorldz, you need to create an account and download a free viewer (see downloads tab at above link)
Brenda's vision is to develop a community of Star Trek fans, and develop role play scenarios inspired by the Star Trek universe. Quorzar's sim is a substantial and impressive build, lovingly constructed and detailed by acclaimed virtual world builder Nutty Swansong. Today's walk is just a taster of what's on offer here. If you enjoyed Captain Janeaway's Voyager you will feel at home in this homage to her beautiful vessel. Consoles flash, corridors arch away into seeming infinity. Is this as close as you we can get to visiting a working space ship? That's what visitors seemed to be saying, as they oohed, and aahed, wandering in this futuristic maze. "I still get lost myself" laughed Brenda, as she showed me around, explaining that Nutty has also been busy contructing a space station, which visitors are also welcome to visit. Nutty told me that while obviously inspired by Voyager, and Deep
Space Nine, his builds are in fact adapted to feel 'real' in a 3d environment for role play..quite a challenge when the TV series is filmed on cutaway sets which don't necessarily join together in logical ways. Role play in this environment looks like it will be serious fun! If you prefer just to look around and soak up the atmosphere, then the group will make you feel very welcome. Raspberry Crystal

Turn left and pass through a door, then head East out of transporter room into a long corridor.

At first corridor intersection turn right (south) and enter engineering.

Pass warp core Then turn right (roughly west)

Head straight on through double door onto corridor.

The Bridge

Turn right and walk right around the Bridge area in an anti-clockwise direction
Exit Bridge

Then pass through a small door which is to the left of a USS Voyager Plaque.
Cross the meeting room bearing left along a small corridor.

Up some steps and to the right, you exit a small door, back onto a main corridor.

Turning right (South) passing a corridor turning on your left you reach a double door, on your left Enter Tactical
Leave tactical via the same door. Then turn right and head down the corridor until you find a right turn.

Take this corridor and continue roughly Eastwards until you reach some double doors on your right.

This is the entrance to the Holodeck suite. Exit the holodeck suite and turn right .

Contine down corridor walking East. This corrdior turns and doubles back on itself to the left, follow until you are walking West.

Keep going west towards a set of double doors. Go through the doors and find yourself back in the transporter room!
