A handcrafted palette of dark green leaves, rich textures, natural tones and jacaranda trees juxtapose with a sub-tropical mix and envelope the building within its natural surrounds.

Celebrated by inner city dwellers, a backyard that becomes the Riverwalk and Brisbane River at the turn of a handle, a wander of the feet or adjustment of a screen. Moray House is truly a home – of its place, curated to celebrate Brisbane life.

CUSP the landscape architect

Using endemic species, Moray House conjures a custom at-home feeling, feeling lived in via a brown and green colour palette that compliments the bronze glass panelling of the project’s exterior. Plants tell the story of vegetative surrounds.

Retaining a 40 metre gumtree on-site, Moray House celebrates the homeliness of the existing and the dexterity of the hand made. Melaleuca trees synonymous with a river street sit alongside jacarandas and white flowering natives, providing the character of a lived in home.
