Christmas

in North Norfolk

North Norfolk is home to many magical Christmas events and festive cheer this December. There’s plenty on for all the family and lots of places to meet Father Christmas, says Kayla Dunne from Visit North Norfolk.

For a truly festive experience, head to National Trust properties, Blicking and Felbrigg. ‘Enchanted Felbrigg’ at Felbrigg Hall, Garden and Park invites you to follow a winter trail through the gardens and enchanted woodland, taking in the wonderful winter landscape. Along the journey, there will be music, crafts and tasty winter treats. The event runs from 7 to 9 December and 14 to 16 December. To enjoy a Christmas past, visit The National Trust’s Blickling Estate between 1 – 21 December. Start your visit with the tree-lined driveway, lit up with Christmas lights, before stepping inside to explore the house decorated with Georgian festive splendour. There will be timed tickets for each visit.

For a traditional Christmas experience, head to Holkham Hall

and take a Candle Light Tour. This is a magical opportunity to see the magnificent state rooms adorned with opulent Christmas decorations and beautiful flickering candlelight. This year’s hall display is in the Statue

Gallery where there will be a full size 18th century Italian inspired wintery parterre garden. Tours start from 2 December to 17 December. Check for dates and book tickets via www.holkham.co.uk.
