To Whom It May Concern: Tyler C. Plain worked as a paid undergraduate intern under my supervision during the Spring Semester of 2006. At the same time, he was my student in the GEOG 4350 Remote Sensing of Environment class. Tyler’s responsibilities as an intern included inventory and scanning of aerial photographs, and preparing aerial photographs for aerotriangulation. This procedure included identifying and measuring pass points and control point on overlapping photos using specialized photogrammetric software. In our project flow, it is critical that this task be done carefully and without error as it provides the geometric foundation for the entire GIS database. I found Tyler to be a capable and enthusiastic employee. He was able to learn new skills quickly and apply them to the assigned tasks, which he completed in a timely fashion. Tyler is an outgoing, cheerful and energetic individual. He would be an asset to any organization he was a part of.
Sincerely yours,
Thomas R. Jordan, PhD.
