My passion for BIM during my studies has led me to increase my knowledge in the area, by analyzing the benefits of using BIM throughout the whole building life cycle, from conceptial stages, design, construction, operation and demolition. Therefor in my final thesis I focused on:

ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGMENT kindergarten This was an individual project with a major focus on use of spaces, special regulations, buildability, ease of access and more. By creating an advanced Revit file I was able to streamline most of those focus points and ease my work by attaching relevant project information to the building components in the 3D model.

ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGMENT renovation In this project after a number of site inspections, we determined that the facility is in a very poor overall condition. It was a group decision to perform quite a drastic renovation. I created a very comprehensive 3D Revit model that could illustrate the exsisting building, demolition, and new construction.

Additionally as an individual project, I elaborated further upon the already complex Revit model by 3D modelling of the Heating system, Water supply system, Ventilation and Structural systems.
With all of those systems integrated in the Model, I was able to extract various reports with detailed analysis about the energy usage and loss, ventilation dimensioning and pressure loss, water usage and carbon footprint, wind analysis. I was able to attach cost to all of the different components of the Model and with the help of Autodesk QTO, I made a very detailed and complex cost calculation.

ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGMENT multi storey social housing Social housing project designed with focus on sustainability, buildability, economy. I chose the construction and designed the basement details while analysing the loads, moisture, radon gas, thermal properties, execution‌ etc. Additionally while working on the almost as-built Revit model I was able to perform Cost 4D BIM calculation and afterwards attach time to that and make a very detailed Construction Schedule 5D BIM.

As part of this project, I took on the role of a contractor. workflow. Additionally I calculated soil amounts, machineical reports, calculate foundation sizes... etc. This specialization has helped me to design projects with consideration

-hours and man-hours, research geotechn of the contractor work.
ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGMENT commercial facilities This project is a Factory with an office area. The factory design was based on the production line and the required space needed for the workflow. The project was executed with prefabricated elements. Additionally I have designed the concrete wall elements that were used in the project.

CIVIL ENGINEERING road construction During 2 semesters of Civil engineering, I have performed detailed Energy, Radiator, Sewer piping level, Beams, Columns, Trusses calculations. Structural analysis, Thermal conductivity and u-value analysis.

Additionally I have developed an urban area with focus on roads, split in various categories covering usage, speed and purpose.I have gained sufficient knowledge to have an appreciation of Civil engineering. This has allowed me to always keep in mind the engineering side of things when I am working on my projects.
