Calabria is located in the centre of the Mediterranean, the region extends southwards from Basilicata and is shaped like a small peninsula surrounded by the Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas. It is separated from Sicily by the Strait of Messina. Calabria, the cradle of ancient civilizations, is the area that gave its name to the entire Italian peninsula. “Italia”was in fact the name that was first given to Calabria in honor of its king Italo. The beauty of Calabria does not end with its history. Alongside this tradition, the unsurpassable beauty of nature stands out not only in the almost 800 kilometers of coastline lined with beautiful beaches and clear blue sea, but also in the wilder mountainous areas and the plains with their citrus orchards and centuries-old olive groves
THINGS TO DO IN CALABRIA
The geographical position, climate and morphology of the territory make Calabria ideal for any type of sporting activity. The particularly extensive coastline, with cliffs falling into the sea alternating with little creeks and endless kilometers of beach, offers the chance to practice swimming, sailing and windsurfing. Underwater diving is particularly exciting and you can explore the fantastic seabed. This region, long and narrow between the two seas, boasts exceptional mountains in the center of the territory with a natural environment that is both fascinating and beautiful. During the winter, although the peaks are not particularly high, the mountains of Calabria have abundant snowfalls that allow tourists to practice skiing in well equipped ski resorts. During the other seasons the mountainous areas of Calabria and the nature parks are the ideal places for other sports such as trekking, walking or horse riding. There are also plenty of opportunities to practice more adventurous sports such as rafting, river trekking and, in complete safety and guided by qualified professionals, you can try potholing in the area’s numerous natural caves. The region also offers two golf courses, set in a position where the green is surrounded by the colors of the sea and by Mediterranean vegetation.

Durante l'inverno, nonostante i picchi non siano particolarmente alti, le montagne della Calabria godono di abbondanti nevicate che permettono ai turisti di dedicarsi allo sci in resort sciistici ben attrezzati. Durante le altre stagioni, le zone montagnose della Calabria e i suoi parchi naturali sono i luoghi ideali per chi desidera praticare sport come il trekking o per chi ama camminare o andare a cavallo. Reggio Calabria, which is the largest town of Calabria and also the main centre of commerce, stands in a splendid position on the eastern coast of the Straits of Messina, where the straits open into the Ionian Sea. It enjoys an exceptionally mild climate all year round and, for this reason, is a popular seaside resort.
Reggio Calabria, la città più grande della Calabria nonchè il maggiore centro per il commercio. The territory of the province of Crotone is situated between the Sila mountains to the west and the Ionian Sea to the east, and was in antiquity an area of very early Greek settlements; ancient Kroton, the present province capital, was the hometown of Pitagoras, Milo, Alcmeon. In the early 20th century the province had a remarkable industrial development, and though most of the chemical plants of those days were closed, the car industry is still growing. The main resources however are in the tourist sector and agricultural production, especially wine and wheat.

Nell'antichità quest'area ospitò i primissimi insediamenti greci, e Kroton diede i natali a personaggi come Pitagora, Milo, Alcmeon. Agli inizi del XX secolo la provincia ha conosciuto un notevole sviluppo industriale e, nonostante la maggior parte degli impianti abbia chiuso, l'industria automobilistica è tuttora in crescita. Le maggiori risorse, comunque, si rinvengono nel settore turistico ed agricolo, in particolar modo nella produzione vinicola e del frumento.

PROJECT "Borgo del Prato I" has a total of 16 units, is a gated development which consists of two blocks of 8 apartments. The apartments are distributed over two levels: the apartments on the ground floor have a private garden whereas the apartments on the first floor have a balcony. «Borgo del Prato" conta un totale di 16 unità ed è un complesso recintato formato da due blocchi di 8 appartamenti. Gli appartamenti sono distribuiti su due livelli: quelli al piano terra hanno un giardino privato mentre quelli al primo piano dispongono di balcone. Sia il piano terra sia il primo piano godono di una meravigliosa vista mare. Gli appartamenti al piano terra hanno due camere da letto e quelli al primo piano una camera da letto, tutti hanno un bagno e dispongono di una cucina totalmente attrezzata (cappa, piano cottura, forno e frigorifero) e scaldabagno inclusi nel prezzo. I parcheggi sono presenti in tutte le zone del complesso e sono a disposizione sia dei residenti, sia dei loro ospiti. Il complesso dispone di una piscina comune e si trova a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e dai negozi. In breve tempo, a piedi, si può raggiungere la cittadina dove le scuole, le farmacie e i negozi sono aperti tutti i mesi dell'anno. L'uso del parcheggio e piscina comune è già incluso nel prezzo. Borgo del Prato è il luogo ideale per rilassarsi e prendere il sole, circondati dagli antichi uliveti ed immersi in una fetta d'Italia che non potrebbe essere più tipica.
