1.1 CONCEPT This building is intended to be the new base of Moscavide scouts group, and has the purpose of formal and conceptual similarity to scouts activities. This building is determined to reference and experience Scout activities, which it seeks to reflect, as much as it want to fit the surrounding in which operates.

In strict parallel with this typical scout activity, the central idea is to think this base as a camping site. The idea of a camping site establishes a dispersed implantation, but the concept of individual buildings states a continuation, an element of unity and communication among all structures.

A camp also allows the creation of a variety of relationships between interior and exterior spaces.

PLANO HUMANO ARQUITECTOS . 02

1.2 FUNCTION This implementation obeyed assumptions of dispersion, by the distribution of different valences through five distinct bodies, leaving aside conventional dispositions. Individually, each building has special features namely: the roofs presented, all with different ridges, a sisal mesh adorning the entrance, different colors of alveolar polycarbonate and by the different windows that each one displays. Thus, this implementation distributes the different activity rooms and sanitary facilities in five volumes linking them together by the generation of a central distributor and aggregator space, as well as it establishes interstitial areas between each module. This implantation creates and features the outer space, establishing its fruition. It states circulation and distribution areas such as a central platform, which serves bigger and populated activities and smaller decks intended for more private activitie s.

1.3 IMPLANTATION Briefly, each of these bodies is based on an extrusion of a rectangular form, creating a wide inner area that is covered with a zinc plate coating. Conceptually, it is possible to read an assembly unit, a common language i the formal structure of each volume, although they are all different from one another. Thus, establishing a unified reading over separate and different units, but yet parts of a whole, united and connected.

2.1 CONCEPT This project was developed in partnership with Jular Madeiras S.A., and the challenge was to develop a housing unit, following lines of controlled costs without neglecting issues of comfort, quality and aesthetics. Equally, this house has a strict control of design and construction, and is intended to be sold as a kit, with the objective of reducing transport costs, at the same time that allows the owners to build and finish their own house. They are transported in 20 ' containers, which easily enables them to be delivered anywhere in the world.

PLANO HUMANO ARQUITECTOS . 06

2.2 FUNCTION The Treehouse Spot 速 was designed to be assembled by just two people, without using any kind of heavy equipment. Foundations are not required and kits can be placed on small concrete pillars or piles of wood. This prefab concern allows increasing the finishes quality, the resources applied in the construction and thus reflects a reduction in the final price of a high quality product. The resultant temporary house may be used as family's weekend home, as a temporary accommodation of any type (e.g. campsites or rural tourism) among others.

2.3 INTERIOR CONCEPT The project established a compact housing structure, with a large living room area, a small kitchen, and a toilet support. The room area is separable by removable panels, which can be closed and thus, creating two areas with different levels of privacy. The more private may be a bedroom and the most exposed one establishing a living room, which also links to a covered outdoor area.

This exterior area sets a covered outdoor space with greater proximity and relationship with the environment and landscape.

This is a work that allows exploration of today's strong and interesting concepts of prefabrication, modularity, costs and resources control.

3.1 CONCEPT This is the new nautical base of the

sea scouts, and its main design line was to establish a strong connection with the

nautical environment. This is an architectural design based on simple and descriptive conceptual lines, that by aggregating elementary and pure forms, set up a characterized, illustrative and engaging building, closely integrated with the surrounding and theme.

3.2 FUNCTION The morphology of the roofs, and the inclination of the main building walls are a reference to the hull of common boats. Alluding to the hatches, the concrete walls delimited by the buildings give rise to semi-public spaces that open to the outside, through the vertical elements of the sealing and the round windows. Making use of various materials, including the wooden deck, the viroc with a rusty stain, and natural concrete, it is intended to draw analogies with elements of nautical experience, as the deck of the ships, the rusted steel of large vessels or the concrete of the wharfs.

3.3 IMPLANTATION The dispersion of the construction within walls and fence also suggests the notion of a scout camp. The implantation establishes three distinct exterior spaces, with different dimensions, and thus different types of possible uses, in accordance to spatial needs.

The buildings are individualized according to the specific use they host, being the larger one for stowing materials and nautical vessels, the central building intended for baths and storage, and the multiuse building, intended to serve several purposes, such as meetings, training events, etc.
