SINOBOOM: partners in access

THE Sinoboom MEWP range is designed to offer a comprehensive set of reliable solutions for various work-at-height tasks, with the models available to the UK and across Europe ranging from compact scissor lift models through to heavy-duty 20-metre telescopic boom lifts. Notably, all Sinoboom equipment available through its European operations is electric-powered, with a view to meeting the ever-increasing demand for eco-friendly options in the rental and contracting sector.

At the higher-reach end of the product line lie products such as the TB20EJ Plus telescopic boom lift, which has a maximum 22m working height and generous 454kg loading capacity in restricted mode, or 300kg unrestricted. Designed to provide reliable performance on uneven terrain, it features patented anti-skid technology and active oscillation, and 45% gradeability, providing operators with a secure and stable working experience.

In common with other Sinoboom telescopic and articulating boom lifts, it features an intelligent, intuitive 7-inch display which allows easy real-time viewing of the machine’s status, parameters and settings along with fault diagnosis, allowing for quicker troubleshooting and everyday maintenance checks.

Joining TB20EJ in the heavyweight category are options such as the 5389RE rough-terrain scissor lift, with 680kg loading capacity. Coupled with the two-way extendable platform which allows for more people, materials and tools to be carried, working efficiency is optimised, and the operators’ experience is made smoother with an oscillating axle and one-click levelling. The machine also offers 40% gradeability and 18.2m working height.

Articulating boom lifts such as the AB18EJ are making both outdoor and indoor operations in emissions-critical workspaces much more feasible. Powered by maintenance-free batteries, they’re designed for easy, comfortable and flexible operation, featuring 3 joysticks for precise, proportional control. AB18EJ offers a 20.2m working height, while other models in the electric articulating range offer 16m and 17.7m working heights.

A wide variety of Sinoboom compact and slab scissor lifts cater to a broad range of requirements and working applications, and are designed for easy transportability with handy features such as both side and rear forklift pockets, and bumper rails which help to protect decals and bodywork against scratches. In addition, Sinoboom scissor lifts feature innovations such as flexibly mounted control boxes, which can be easily positioned to suit both left- and right-handed operators, and have an incorporated hand shield, protecting both the operator and the control box against damage from falling objects. The compact and range features models with working heights from 5.8m to 15.8m.

A popular compact model is the 1932SE, which has a narrow width of only 0.8m, meaning easy access along narrow corridors and travel in elevators, while its 7.8m working height makes it ideal for indoor tasks such as electrical installations.

THE AB18EJ ELECTRIC ARTICULATED BOOM LIFT

Larger slab scissor models feature a wider scissor stack, which helps enhance stability. This wider stance doesn’t impact on flexibility, however; Sinoboom scissor lifts all feature a small turning radius, to make operations in tight and narrow spaces as easy as possible, and controls are user-friendly.
