Index Outdoor EN We are expanding our outdoor ranges Made in Holland this year with a number of new series. We are adding to our Nature collection with the addition of the new Rock planters. The Urban collection is new and features the Smooth series. This series consists of planters with a smooth finish and the look of rough natural stone. In addition there is the Tube series, featuring planters with a contemporary line structure. NL We breiden ons outdoor-assortiment Made in Holland dit jaar uit met een aantal nieuwe series. Zo voegen we aan de Naturecollectie de lijn Rock toe. Deze potten hebben de look van een rotsblok. De Urban-collectie is nieuw en bevat de serie Smooth. Deze serie bestaat uit potten met een gladde afwerking en de look van ruwe natuursteen. Daarnaast is er de serie Tube, deze bestaat uit potten met een eigentijdse lijnstructuur.
DE Unser Outdoor-Sortiment Made in Holland erweitern wir dieses Jahr um eine Reihe neuer Serien. Beispielsweise ergänzen wir unsere Nature-Kollektion mit der Linie Rock. Diese Gefäße haben den Look eines Felsblocks. Die Urban-Kollektion ist neu und umfasst die Serie Smooth. Diese Serie besteht aus Gefäßen mit glatter Oberfläche und dem Look von Naturstein. Darüber hinaus gibt es die Serie Tube, die aus Gefäßen mit einer modernen Linienstruktur besteht. FR Cette année, plusieurs nouvelles séries viennent étoffer notre assortiment extérieur Made in Holland. La collection Nature s’enrichit ainsi d’une ligne Rock avec des pots à l’aspect rocheux. Working on a sustainable future EN We have made great progress in pursuing our vision: ‘Planters made in Holland’. Our famous Riband Row-series we now also produced in several designs in the Netherlands. We also introduce two completely new designs: Rock and Tube. They are all made like our Smooth-series. The beautiful designs to which we are accustomed, are now offered in a sustainable product. Just like our famous Capi Smooth pots they are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. See pages …12-29. NL We hebben dit jaar een grote stap gemaakt in het nastreven van onze visie: ‘Planters made in Holland’. Onze bekende Rib- en Row-serie produceren we nu ook in een aantal designs in Nederland. Ook introduceren we twee compleet nieuwe series: Rock en Tube. Deze worden allemaal gemaakt zoals onze Smooth-serie. Het mooie design dat we gewend zijn bieden we nu aan in een duurzame uitvoering. Protects your plants Plants will live longer because the orange insulating layer protects the roots of the plant from heat in the summer and frost in the winter.
Our unique insulating layer The Made in Holland planters are made of a mix of polyethylene and wood fibres. It all starts with a powdered substance, which melts due to a heating process and then hardens as two separate layers in the planter. Having a double layer in the planter makes it extra strong. The result is a bright orange heart in the planter: the insulating layer.

Filling tip Outdoor use
EN It’s best if you place your planter where you want it in your garden so that, when it is filled, there is no need to move it around. Does your planter have an orange interior? Then you should drill a hole in the bottom for draining and you should also make sure that the hole cannot become clogged. You can do this by placing mesh on the bottom. In this way, the water can drain away and there is then no risk of the planter breaking or cracking during times of frost. Next fill your planter 1/3 full with hydro grains. This ensures a better water housekeeping in the planter and this in turn is good for the plant’s growth. Then you can fill the planter with potting soil. If you like, you can add a layer of hydro grains on top of the potting soil. This gives a decorative touch and also ensures that the top layer does not dry out. When the planter has been filled, you should not move it around by holding the top edges, but rather by lifting the pot in its entirety. If you use the edges, you could cause the pot to crack. FR Nous vous recommandons d’installer directement votre pot à son emplacement final dans votre jardin pour ne plus avoir à le déplacer une fois que vous l’aurez rempli. Si l’intérieur de votre pot est orange, percez un trou dans le fond pour permettre l’écoulement de l’eau et assurez-vous qu’il ne puisse pas être obstrué. Pour ce faire, vous pouvez placer de la gaze dans le fond du pot. En laissant l’eau s’écouler par le fond, vous évitez que votre pot ne se casse ou se fissure sous l’effet du gel. Remplissez ensuite un tiers du pot de billes hydro. Elles assurent une meilleure régulation hydraulique dans le pot, ce qui améliore le développement de votre plante. Remplissez le reste du pot de terreau. Vous pouvez éventuellement recouvrir le terreau d’une couche de billes hydro. Vous obtiendrez ainsi un effet décoratif et cela évitera que la couche supérieure de terreau ne s’assèche trop rapidement. Une fois rempli, le pot ne peut plus être déplacé que dans son ensemble. N’essayez pas de le soulever par les bords, car il risquerait de se fendre sous son propre poids.

Hat das Gefäß eine orangefarbene Innenseite? In diesem Falle müssen Sie ein Loch in den Boden bohren, sodass Wasser abfließen kann, wobei es darauf zu achten gilt, dass dieses Loch im Boden nicht verstopft. Dafür eignet sich ein Drahtgeflecht auf dem Boden des Gefäßes. So kann Wasser abfließen, und Sie vermeiden ein Platzen oder Reißen des Gefäßes infolge von Frost. Über diese Schicht wird das Gefäß dann mit Substrat gefüllt, das an der Oberseite gegebenenfalls mit einer Schicht Blähton angefüllt werden kann, was dem Ganzen einen dekorativen Effekt verleiht und außerdem dafür sorgt, dass die oberste Schicht des Substrats nicht rasch austrocknet. Wenn das Gefäß gefüllt ist, kann dies nur noch als Gesamtheit bewegt werden, wobei es nicht an den Rändern angehoben werden darf, da aufgrund des Gewichts das Gefäß sonst reisen kann.
