The ultimate test for plastic surgeons, the ASPS In-Service Exam is designed to evaluate your knowledge of the most up-to-date, challenging and comprehensive content developed by experts of the specialty. Your results will give you a clear picture of your strengths and weaknesses and identify areas in need of further study. Best of all, the online exam may be taken at your own pace in the comfort of your home or office.

• Identify the most up-to-date information on the core curriculum of plastic surgery
• Self-assess base knowledge of the five clinical component areas
• Establish a benchmark for areas of focus needing further concentrated educational efforts

Cancellation
All cancellations must be received in writing to be considered for refund. The final date to cancel or withdraw for ISE is June 6, 2023 and Aug. 8, 2023 for L3E. No refunds or credits will be considered beyond these dates. All credits or refunds are subject to a $50 administrative fee.

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons® (ASPS®) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons designates each enduring material for the number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ listed below. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
In-Service Exam
37.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™*
7.5 of the 37.5 credits have been identified as applicable to Patient Safety. *Minimum passing score required.
L 3E: Aesthetic In-Service 30 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™*
6 of the 30 credits have been identified as applicable to Patient Safety. *Minimum passing score required.
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) requires all instructors, planners, reviewers, managers and other individuals in a position to control or influence the content of an activity to disclose all relevant financial relationships or affiliations. All identified conflicts of interest must be resolved and the educational content thoroughly vetted by ASPS for fair, balanced, scientific objectivity and appropriateness of patient care recommendations. ASPS also requires faculty/authors to disclose when off-label/unapproved uses of product are discussed in a CME activity or included in related materials.

Important Information for Web-Based Examination Process
ASPS is required to set a minimum performance level for activities such as the In-Service Exam and L3E: Aesthetic In-Service, and may only award AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to those learners who meet the minimum performance level. Credits are based on the estimated completion and review time for the examination process and the achievement of a minimum performance level. To receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, your exam must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. local time, on the close date of each of the exams.
The minimum performance level has been set at 30 percent (this will apply to each module of the ISE completed). The learners who do not meet the 30 percent minimum score will be given an opportunity to participate in an additional attempt immediately following the initial completion of the exam.
Standard Testing Requirements
The ASPS Education Network (EdNet) fully supports the web browsers IE 10+ and the two most recent public versions of Chrome, FireFox and Safari. Supported operating systems include MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android. There are no required downloads or third-party applications required by the learners.
