RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT We have the in-house capability to take a concept and rapidly turn it into a reality. With our progressive and innovative approach to continually improving our product with direct user feedback our customer centricity is the cornerstone of our success. Our design team is highly trained and possesses industrial design capability allowing us to animate, pattern, sample and trial-manage an extremely broad bandwidth of products. Every product we design is driven by a specific customer need and with a “solution based” approach; we challenge our customers on every detail they are able to share. Such details include application, area of operations and equipment’s with which our product needs to work with. We know from years of experience that the more we understand, the more we can assist. Although our design team is geared to develop new concepts inhouse, they are also skilled in conducting test and evaluation of leading technologies that are commercially available. Rather than utilised resources to “reinvent the wheel” we prefer to partner with other leaders in the pursuit for delivering on requirements specified by our customers. We have a specific sub-contractor assessment process which is used to aid us in the decision to partner with an organisation and this process assesses many aspects of the prospective partner including product integrity, company track record, and their approach to quality and backup support. On average, we complete two to five new designs (specific to a customer need), each week on top of developing new product for our retail range under the name of Platatac™.

JUNGLE UNIFORM The Platatac jungle uniform takes old school inspiration and incorporates it with a modern, innovative and cuttingedge fabric to bring you the lightest and most functional jungle operations uniform ever. Made from the aptly named â&#x20AC;&#x153;Apocalypseâ&#x20AC;? fabric, this 100% nylon rip-stop fabric is lightweight, durable, quick drying and breathable, with excellent moisture management delivering maximum comfort in hot/temperate climates. The overall design of the uniform was intended to reduce layers and seams, -

- with poly mesh in the bottom of all pockets for water drainage, and mesh areas in the uniform, to mitigate heat when active or static. Also, the fabric incorporates antiodour/antimicrobial X-Static technology. This permanent treatment keeps you cooler, prevents the growth of bacteria, the spread of infection and eliminates odour, allowing the uniform to be worn for extended periods, without the need to wash it.

C O O L U N D E R TA C T I C A L SHIRT (CUTS V2) The CUTS V2 is specifically designed to promote cooling when using body armour in warm environments or whilst conducting strenuous activities. The CUTS differs greatly from a regular BDU shirt though the use of lightweight, moisture wicking fabric in areas where body armour contacts the body, such as the torso. The fabric maximises air flow and heat dissipation where it is required. Furthermore, the shoulders are constructed from 3D air mesh allowing maximum comfort when using load bearing equipment. ASAD MODULAR DUMP POUCH The ASAD Dump Pouch Modular is the newest iteration in our dump pouch family. The pouch has the ability to not only carry spent magazines, water bottles or a respirator, but can also allow the attachment of extra pouches, such as 40mm or distraction pouches internally. The design allows the user to quickly close the top of the pouch via routed cinch cord. Furthermore, it can be closed by utilizing the two loop tabs located inside the opening of the pouch. The pull-tab release system allows for quick deployment of the pouch with only one movement, when rolled up the pouch takes up little room under magazine pouches. The dump pouch also will accept soft armour via the zippered internal pocket, which also features elastic loops.

UO ARMOUR CARRIER The Platatac UO Armor Carrier (UOAC) provides a lightweight, ergonomic and comfortable platform, with Tweave 4 way stretch against the body for moisture control and comfort the UOAC is perfect for use as a low signature carrier when worn under loose clothing. The 4 Way will mould to the shape of the HAI for additional comfort. SMAC 2 ARMOUR CARRIER One of the best known PLATATAC plate carriers is the SMAC, designed and manufactured in response to a SOCOMD requirement. With adaptability being key and without sacrificing comfort for durability, the SMAC 2 features the same simple and well thought out design as its predecessor, with some added benefits. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s a lightweight, low profile and versatile platform and with molle attachment points on entire vest profile and the addition of the rifle mag insert and integrated hydration/ MOE tool carrier, this allows the user to significantly increases load carriage options. The SMAC 2 shares commonality with the ASAD PDS armour carrier ballistic -

PEACEKEEPER MK IV SLICK The CHICOM PK4 Slick Chest Rig is a lightweight, cut down, version of our Peacekeeper MK4 Chest Rig. This compact rig is designed with the pouches closer together and with no long zipped utility pouch under the magazine pouches.Designed to work as a standalone low profile rig or connected to a plate carrier via quick release ITW clips. The thin, compact profile of the Chest Rig is perfect for vehicle mounted, jungle or urban operations. The three pouches are designed to hold 2 x AK or M4 magazines, a pistol or other smaller items. SICC LF B E LT Traditionally Special Operators would acquire the parachute straps from a “Load Follow”. A load of equipment on pallets parachuted in on a water drop. The straps of a couple or so metres were cut down and became prized possessions and a badge of honour to wear. Para riggers and kit fiddlers over the years modified these belts and added pouches, extra straps and attachments, the para buckles were load rated so the CQB belt was born. Over the decades refined to be an art form. Our SICC belt range is a nod to the ingenuity of the SOF operators that help Platypus refine our kit. The Bravo Medic was developed with direct feedback from Special Operations members and has been developed to be fill a multimission capability. CRKT M16-14DSFG TANTO FOLDING KNIFE In the process of developing our line of Carson special forces G10 M16® models, it became apparent that there was a demand for these models from coalition forces serving in desert environments. These models have Desert Tan blade and scales. The M16®-14DSFG Big Dog G10 is our hefty utility version, with a 3.875” (98 mm) dual grind Tanto blade and full-size handle with butt pommel. It weighs 5.9 oz. (167 g). Just like its black tactical counterpart, this knife shares a unique design offering a combination of Carson SF series features requested by military procurement specialists. BLUEGUNS® Ring’s Manufacturing originated from our parent company Ring’s Studio Gun Rental Inc., which was established in 1989. EBERLESTOCK J51 WARHAMMER PACK The J51 Warhammer is an offshoot of Eberlestocks popular J79 Skycrane II, but has more generous side/main butterfly compartments, so in effect the Warhammer has more standalone capacity. However, the products are very similar in function, and use many of the same components. Whereas the Skycrane II system includes the G1 and LP1 packs, these can be purchased separately when building a J51based pack. The Warhammer is built around the U.S. militaryâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s beloved ALICE, a tried and true pack frame. Using the frame as a core structure, Eberlestock has developed an entirely new style of pack that has amazing utility and versatility. It takes advantage of the ALICEâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s compact size, and take-anythingyou-can-throw-at-it toughness, and incorporates features and qualities that have made Eberlestock packs famous. PLATATAC AAS Platypus Outdoors Group through our Platatac brand have been a long-time supporter of Australian Commandos. As part of that commitment we have forged a specifically shaped dagger, an AAS; Australian Army Stiletto. This knife will be available through the Australian Commando Association, 1st Commando Regiment, 2nd Commando Regiment and the Special Air Service Regiment. It will not be sold outside Australian Special Operations. We have spent many years refining the design and manufacturing process of the dagger. We have now officially partnered with our specialist knife makers from Sheffield England, to finalise the project. They have mastered the British traditions of bespoke knife design. Our bladesmiths are also the current manufacturers for the Ministry of Defence - Sykes Fairbairn Dagger.

TIES We offer our Ties in both polyester and silk styles. Our ties can be customised with any pattern you may require. Our silk ties are recommended for simple graphics with solid flat detail. Our polyester ties are better suited for more detailed imagery and asymmetric designs. Solid colours and strips work best for our tie base designs.

STABLE BELTS Our Stable Belts be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. We provide several types of metals that our stable belts can be plated in. We also can also provide custom webbing colours, please contact us for webbing colour we may already have. We have two sizes of stable belts that we offer. Our belts are available in 45mm & 60mm webbing.

Take it on deployment or on your next camping adventure. Easily store away flat in your backpack and clip the four corners together to assemble. Custom embroidery available for both the front and rear of the BBH.

WRISTBANDS Our Silicone Wristbands can be customised by embossing and debossing the silicone rubber. We also offer printing for coloured graphics. The silicone base colour of the wristbands can also be customised upon request. It is recommended to use simple imagery with 4 colours maximum to ensure the cleanest results possible.

PVC PATCHES Our PVC Patches are made from soft synthetic plastic polymer. Our patches can be made to any size or shape. There is no limit with colour choice. Our patches come with a hook field on the rear, though this can be removed. PVC rubber is cleaner in its appearance and allows for more intricate designs.

EMBROIDERED PATCHES Our Embroidered Patches are made from cotton twill and rayon thread. Our patches can be made to any size or shape. We provide a vast array of thread and twill colours, including MultiCam and DPCU. Our patches come with a hook field on the rear, though this can be removed and replaced with iron on adhesive.

FLAGS Our Flags are made with cotton base fabric and polyester thread. Our flags are customised with embroidery, however for small more intricate designs we offer printed patches which are embroidered onto the flag. There are no limitations with size and colour choices. All Sub-unit and Battalion flags meet ADF flag specifications.

BAR MATS Our Bar Mats are made with a polyester fabric top and a non-slip nitrile rubber base. The bar mats use digital sublimation printing which allows for great detail in the final print graphic. The bar mats can be customised with any colour fabric background required. Please note that the rubber base is not customisable in colour.

COINS Our Coins can be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. We provide several types of metal including, gold metal, silver metal, bronze metal, antique gold metal and antique silver metal. We can provide custom engraving and numbering. We also offer epoxy coating.

TIE BARS Our Tie Bars can be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. We provide several types of metals that our tie bars can be plated in. These items are a great option for a professional and sleek appearance. The ie bars work great with matching money clips and cufflinks.

MEDALS/MEDALLIONS Our Medals can be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. The ribbon colour can also be customised upon request. We also have the option of custom printed felt and wooden boxes to hold the medals. There is no limitation to the metal size, but we suggest a 50mm diameter for the most aesthetic medal.

CUFFLINKS Our Cufflinks can be customised with 3D cast metal and enamel fill. We provide several types of metals that our cufflinks can be plated in. We can provide our cufflinks with or without a custom printed velvet display box. Our cufflinks use a bullet back and toggle closure. The cuff links work great with matching money clips and tie bars.

CREDIT CARD BOTTLE OPENERS Our Credit Card Bottle Openers can be customised with both laser etching and printing. There are no limitations with colour. We can provide full print or partial print. Both sides are customisable. We can achieve great detail with the prints, allowing for small type and complicated imagery.

ZIPPO LIGHTERS Genuine Zippo lighters make for a great customised gift idea. The lighters can be both engraved and printed front and rear. All lighters come in original Zippo packaging. The lighters have a great brushed metal finish.

BREW FLASKS Our Brew Flasks can be customised with printing on the top of the lid. We offer the printing size of up to 50mm in diameter. We offer full colour printing for this area. The brew flask base colour comes in either black, olive drab, navy or khaki. The brew flask is a stainless-steel insulated flask that is perfect for hot food and drink.

STUBBIE COOLERS Our Lay Flat Stubby Coolers are available in adjustable neoprene backed plastic or 100% neoprene. This option is best for detailed designs that require higher resolution. We can custom print around the full circumference and height of the stubby.

MUGS Our Mugs can be customised with print graphics. We provide two styles of mugs, one being our ceramic mug and the other being our colour change ceramic mug. We can provide custom printing over 330 degrees of the outer circumference of the mug, allowing for almost full graphic coverage.

PLAQUES We offer a range of Plaque styles and sizes. We can offer metal plaques on wooden backings, metal plaques on framed felt backings and plaque pieces with no backing.
