Teaching Online: Using Images in Schoology It’s important to use images throughout your course to add visual interest and have visual representation for the topic being covered. Images should be included on folders that are on the homepage of your course as well as a description of what is covered in the course. Media (images, vidoes, graphs, etc.) should be used throughout the course to balance text on pages, assignments, discussion boards, etc.

When using images in Schoology, be sure to cite your source with a link to the homepage of the copyright friendly site where you found your image just below your image as modeled to the left. You do not have to link to the specific image but providing a link for each image models best practice for students.
