Welcome

We are heartened by the news that the expected recession might not be as bad as feared, and that in no small part is due to the hard graft put in by the country’s business community.

Although the government boldly states that it is going to ‘fire up business’, it is still proceeding with the hike in Corporation Tax –which somewhat undermines the statement.

Platinum continues to encourage, support and partner with firms in the South East to forge ahead, continuing to build a strong community. Inside we have Kreston Reeves talking about the changes in R&D tax credits, Loch Associates explaining how to overcome ‘quiet quitting’ and MDHUB encourages you to know what you don’t know.

Dynamic Magazine, the only magazine for women in business is inside, dealing with wellbeing and your business, the failed menopause legislation, women in charge and Wellesley advises on how to you make the tax year-end a success. We also have the new round table feature, Talking Heads, on the subject of funding for female-led businesses and the problems they face.

Maarten got to grips with the Ferrari Roma, Tess went native and spent Christmas in the Sahara on a camel, and our female motoring editor, Fiona Shafer, fell in love with the Audi TTRS.

Welcome to another packed issue of Platinum and Dynamic.
