What hasn’t changed in the importance of international trade and investment in the UK’s overall prosperity. Trade and investment create jobs and increase productivity by bringing the world's best technology and ideas to the UK, as well as providing access to export markets for our own companies. In 1980, the UK accounted for over 6% of the global market for exported goods and services. By 2019, that had shrunk to less than 4%. For this Forum, we bring together a group of influential experts to debate, discuss and inform on the subject of International Trade and Brexit.
