Its the time of year when the weather is heating outdoor activities are in full swing. There are farmers markets in store. Whether you are looking for fresh produce, jarred salsas and arts andcrafts, or homemade soaps, you will find diverse products and unique offerings at local markets. Temple is the place to be this farm-fresh season.
Temple
The West Temple Park Farmer’s Market will host market days on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 AM to 12 PM. Located at 121 Montpark Rd. Due to storm damage and clean-up efforts, the market is temporarily located in the parking lot near Santa Fe Plaza in Downtown Temple until the end of July. This market is a much-needed stop on your tour of Bell County’s best farmers' markets. The Second Saturday market is also an excellent farmers market to stop by in downtown Temple. This special event is held on the second Saturday of each month near Main Street Design and Consign and The Yard.
Belton

Salado
The Barrow Brewing Co. Market is open for the season from April through September. These events are held on Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. Visitors can find all kinds of vendors and wares from pies, jams, britle, sourdough bread, and so much more. What’s more, the adults in your group can stop in and sample some local craft beers as you walk around, enjoy the day, and see what the vendors have to offer.
