What is Parenting @ Playford? The experiences that children have in their early years shape their development, ability to learn, social skills and self-esteem. Children who have early exposure to books, stories and reading learn to read more successfully, and do better at school and in later life. Parenting @ Playford provides a friendly environment and a wealth of resources for parents and caregivers that help cater to the development of the whole child - anything from pregnancy and nutrition to organising a children’s party - our collection has it all! Parenting @ Playford is divided into eight sections: • • • •
Play Education Food & Nutrition Health & Wellbeing
• • • •
