The Frisco Heritage Museum chronicles the development of Frisco from the small farming town of Lebanon, a routine stop for cattle drives along the Shawnee Trail, to one of the fastest growing cities in the country. While you're visiting, explore the grounds of our Heritage Village for more Frisco history.

FRISCO HERITAGE VILLAGE BLACKSMITH CLASSES

Blacksmith classes are back in 2022! We have been working on expanding the available space in the Blacksmith shop to be able to add a second forge and expand the number of students in each class! we offer 3 levels of blacksmithing classes for kids as well as adults, and after each class each student takes home what they've made! Classes are 2-4 hours and take place on Saturdays. Stay tuned to the museum's social media and website for the grand re-opening of Gaby's Blacksmith Shop!

FRISCO HERITAGE VILLAGE WALKING TOURS

$10 Adults $5 kids ages 5-12

On this one-hour guided walking tour through the Frisco Heritage Village, you’ll learn how the City of Frisco got its name, the importance of a blacksmith shop, train depot, and what architecture was like at the turn of the 20th century here in North Texas. As you stroll along, you will discover a historic church, a one-room schoolhouse, and even a log cabin! Tour times and price include a self-guided tour through the Frisco Heritage Museum. FRISCO HERITAGE VILLAGE HISTORIC HOMES TOUR

Go back in time with us to the turn of the 20th century for a brand-new Historic House Tour at the Frisco Heritage Village where we take you on a one-hour guided tour through the Smith-Muse House, the CrozierSickles House, and the Lebanon Baptist Church. On this tour, we will discuss the historical significance of the structures, learn what life was like in Frisco when they were built, and hear the incredible personal stories of the pioneers who lived and worshipped in them.
