Simple Poses that make you look amazing!

Introduction Beautiful boudoir photography is an art. Professional photographers in this genre know how to accentuate your beauty with posing, wardrobe, lighting, focus, and other techniques. But you can do your own boudoir photo shoot and have excellent results too.

These 5 simple poses help you create some beautiful photos.

They are a great starting point that you can add some of your own creativity to and create truly memorable images.

Use what you’ve got. If you have a camera, use it. If not, use the camera on your phone. You can get beautiful pictures from either.

Solo? You can set up your camera or phone on a tripod and spend a few hours doing self-portraits (this is more than your average selfie).

Alternatively, you can ask a friend to help you. It would be helpful to show them this guide, so they know what you are looking for.

Motion

Pull on your clothing to create a sense of movement.

For this mirror pose, Lori popped her booty out, arched her back to elongate her torso and kept her legs straight.

For a little variety, you can bend your leg, look at the camera instead of the mirror, and pull your clothing in a different direction.

Kneeling

Kneel on a couch, or a chair. Pop your booty out, arch your back and rest her elbow on the arm of the couch or chair. Try different variations of this pose by sitting down more, moving your hands through your hair and tracing the lace on your lingerie with your hand.

Sitting

Sit in a chair with your legs crossed. Lean slightly forward and caress your left leg while keeping your other hand on your thigh.

You can vary this pose by sitting with your legs spread and put one hand on each thigh, like in the cover photo.

Hands

It's often challenging to figure out what to do with your hands.

You can use an accessory, like the glass in this picture, to keep your hands busy.

Alternatively, you can trace the lines of your outfit, or pull on it, like in the 'Motion' pose.

Toes

Whether you're sitting, standing, lying, kneeling, or any other pose, remember to point your toes. It elongates your leg and tightens your calves, which gives you a more slim look.

BONUS TIP

Props & Accessories

Props like the white sheer in this photo add a soft, delicate texture, while allowing for an implied nude photo.
