The mission of SLYDE the Playground Hound is to teach playground safety awareness to children. Falls arethe most common playground related injury and acan be life thraeting. Twenty-One percent of reported playground injury fatalities are due to falls. About three-quaters of all fall-related fatalities were due to head impact.
