If you’re looking for a new and exciting take on your favorite classic dishes, The Ghost Light Restaurant & Lounge is the place for you. Executive Chef Bernie Berhent specializes in high quality fresh ingredients that makes even an onion ring deserve a standing ovation.
Chef Bernie released a new and improved menu that focuses attention on flavorful timeless entrees, fun shareable appetizers and handhelds that you won’t want to let go.
You can find Chef Bernie and The Ghost Light located right down the road in The Crowne Plaza Cleveland, the official hotel of Playhouse Square. They are the perfect place for dinner before a show or brunch with a matinee.

“Playhouse Square has been special to us during different seasons of our lives: from entertaining friends, to enjoying family time and now date nights. Having a grandchild with special needs proved to be no problem for the Playhouse Square staff as special arrangements were made to accommodate our sweet Corbin so he could attend a Children’s Theater Series performance. We are also grateful for the opportunities that being a donor provides. The accommodations, friendships and hospitality found at the RJF Presidents’ Club adds to the enjoyment of attending a show. SUPPORT OUR DAZZLE AWARDS STUDENTS!
The 2022 Playhouse Square Dazzle Awards program, presented by Pat & John Chapman, recognizes excellence in Northeast Ohio high school musical theater students. The program emphasizes helping students build confidence and showcase their talents, while having the opportunity to learn from Broadway industry experts. The goal is to raise $25,000 by June 30 to continue to support these students and continue to reward their talent and hard work. An additional generous contribution will be made by long-time Trustee John Chapman and his wife Pat, who are committed to helping to provide inspiring and engaging opportunities through the arts.
