STEPHANIE TORNS (Jenna Hunterson) is beyond thrilled to be back at the diner getting to tell this beautiful story. She is an original Broadway cast member of Waitress, and has been with the show since 2015, where it was first performed out of town at the American Repertory Theater. OLIVIA LUCY PHILLIP (Becky) is originally from England and a recent American citizen! She starred in CBS’s TOMMY playing Kate Jones, opposite Edie Falco. She is thrilled to rejoin the company of Waitress as Becky. KENDYL ITO (Dawn) (she/her) is thrilled to join the diner! He has been featured in 15 Broadway productions. His movie credits include The Cotton Club (Cab Calloway), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Simon Zealotes).

ELOISE HIGGINS (Lulu at certain performances) While Eloise Higgins has done many adaptations of musicals on her personal stage in her family room, this is her first time on the big stage, and she is so excited! She enjoys singing along with Sara Bareilles and Dolly Parton, ballet dancing, ice skating, and playing soccer. She attends Orange Early Childhood Preschool and is

eager to go to kindergarten at Beachwood in the fall. She also loves her baby sister Maisie, her mother, and father.

JESSIE NELSON (Book) waitressed for ten years before writing, directing and producing Corrina Corrina and I Am Sam. She co-created, wrote and directed “Little Voice” (Bad Robot, Apple TV) with Sara Bareilles. Directing credits include “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Love, the Coopers.” Writing credits include Stepmom and The Story of Us. She is currently Ex. Producing the memoirs Untamed and Brown Baby. Jessie directed Alice By Heart, co-written with Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik. She worked with Mabou Mines at NYSF. She honors Adrienne Shelly’s legacy through her work on Waitress.

SARA BAREILLES (Music & Lyrics) GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, songwriter, actress, author, and philanthropist Sara Bareilles consistently affirms herself as a modern renaissance woman. To date, she has received two Tony® Award nominations, three Primetime EMMY® Award nominations, and seven GRAMMY® Award nominations, garnering a 2020 GRAMMY® in the category of “Best American Roots Performance” for “Saint Honesty.” On Broadway, she composed music and lyrics for Waitress, electrifying the stage as the lead in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and making her grand return in 2021. She currently co-stars in the critically acclaimed Peacock phenomenon Girls5Eva set to return for its second season on May 5th, 2022.

ADRIENNE SHELLY (Film). We celebrate Adrienne Shelly as the writer of the 2007 film Waitress. An actor (Trust) and director (Waitress, I’ll Take You There, Sudden Manhattan) for almost 20 years, she conceived the film while pregnant with her daughter Sophie (Lulu in the film), for whom she wrote it as a “love letter” in just two weeks. Adrienne’s legacy includes The Adrienne Shelly Foundation, created after

NADIA DIGIALLONARDO (Music Supervision & Arrangements) worked with Diane Paulus on the Broadway revivals of Hair and Pippin, and continues to supervise the Pippin tour. Nadia and her sisters are frequent guests on A Prairie Home Companion and recently released their live CD, Shout, Sister, Shout! Nadia graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vassar with a degree in Urban Planning.

SARA BAREILLES and THE WAITRESS BAND (Orchestrations). Sara Bareilles, Nadia DiGiallonardo, Rich Mercurio, Lee Nadel, Yair Evnine, Rich Hinman and Jamie Edwards. With Sara Bareilles, the band engaged in a deeply collaborative process to create the arrangements for the Waitress score.
