The final 30 minutes are dedicated to restorative practices including yin yoga postures, pranayama (breathing techniques) guided relaxation and seated meditation.

Students explore the foundations of asana, mantra, meditation, yogic philosophy, and intelligent sequencing to assist the practitioner in gaining access to a fuller expression of the yoga poses with a focus on alignment, using props and mindful modifications. Explore the subtleties and intricacies of standing poses, seated poses, inversions, twists, backbends, and breath work. This class is for students desiring a supportive, compassionate, and conscious community as you embark on the spiritual journey of awakening. Enjoy the opportunity to breathe and turn inward and tune into the physical, mental, and emotional sensations occurring within your body. Resting in the pose for several minutes allows your body the space to open up and receive. As you go deeper and settle into the next expression of the pose, you enjoy stillness and selfreflection. Yin yoga awakens greater vitality by restoring the healthy flow of energy within the body cultivating patience, acceptance and surrender.
