EXPEDITIONS Our Expeditions are “Once in a Lifetime” motorcycle journeys on a massive scale! This is about traversing continents or riding in the tracks of legendary routes, like the Silk Road or the Pan American Highway, and immersing yourself for months in the ultimate epic motorcycle adventure.

How does it work? • Expeditions are designed to be done on your own motorcycle* - any make is welcome, but we recommend an adventure style bike with minimum 600cc engine. • We organise the freight of your motorcycle (by air or sea) to the start and at the end. • A GlobeBusters Expedition Motorcycle Leader accompanies each Expedition, with a dedicated GlobeBusters Support Vehicle and Driver as back-up. *Triumph Tiger 800 XC hire available for riders who do not have a suitable bike.

• We give you the freedom to ride your own ride by providing GPS mapping, GPS routes and co-ordinates, as well as daily route notes to selfnavigate. Alternatively, you can decide to follow our Expedition Leader. • We use majority 4* or 3* hotels or if not available, the best in the area. In remote areas, this can mean homestays, family guesthouses or camping. • On Expeditions, you need to be a proactive and positive team player, to use your initiative and be willing to assist in the unforeseen challenges that may arise during the journey. • Our average group size is around 12 riders, from all over the world, some with passengers.

Self-Guided Expeditions A self-guided package is bespoke and may include scoping, planning & preparation meetings with a member of the GlobeBusters Team, facilitating motorcycle freight, providing GPS routes and mapping, highlighted hard copy maps and recommended hotels lists (or we can pre-book hotels). However, please note that we never just sell our routes.

Adventure Bike Centre

GlobeBusters has teamed up with Adventure Bike Training, operated by GlobeBusters Guide and exBMW Off Road Skills Instructor, Kevin Hammond to create The Adventure Bike Centre.

The

With GlobeBusters & Adventure Bike Training

Adventure Bike Centre is dedicated to motorcycle travel, whether it’s a week away or an around the world trip. Over the past 18 years, riding all corners of the planet, we’ve amassed huge amounts of practical experience to share with you. For 2017, we have a range of adventure riding courses, with practical motorcycle workshops, using a real world, travel-focused approach. Located in a rural area of North Norfolk, Adventure Bike Centre has a large gravel training area and is surrounded by loads of great trails, together with a dedicated meeting room, workshop and indoor training facilities.

Here are some of the courses you can do (based on a group size of 4): Adventure Taster:

One day introduction to riding on unpaved surfaces and basic techniques, with some easy trails. Adventure Bike Prep & Maintenance Workshop

£245

One day course on bike preparation, modifications and accessories, with practical bike maintenance. (This course is normally held after the above one day courses, so you can combine them into a two day package)

Adventure for Women

ADVENTURE TOURS Our Adventure Tours bring you some of the best roads from our major Expeditions in manageable itineraries of 12 – 18 days. So if you cannot be away for months at a time, or just want a taste of adventure travel, these are the perfect solution to bring you an unbeatable GlobeBusters experience.

How does it work? • As most of our adventure tours are outside of Europe, it’s often not possible to use your own bike and so we organise motorcycle rental with our Approved Travel Partner (if you need it).

• We use majority 4* hotels or good quality 3* character / family hotels, or if not available, the best in the area and we also have inclusive sightseeing or activities.

• A GlobeBusters Tour Leader accompanies each Tour, with a local Support Vehicle and Driver that will carry luggage and act as sweeper vehicle.

• We give you the freedom to ride your own ride by providing GPS mapping, GPS routes and co-ordinates, and highlighted hard copy maps to self-navigate. Alternatively, you can decide to follow our Tour Leader.

• Our average group size is 12 riders – great for camaraderie, but you’re not lost in a crowd.

Self Guided Many of these adventure tours can be done on a selfguided basis. This means you can choose the dates that suit you. We still organise everything for you in advance – your motorcycle rental, with pre-paid hotels, all the routes, maps etc. Then you go and ride your own ride.

“Every Triumph rider should go to Tridays at least once and this is an excellent well balanced tour of superb biking roads and sights along the way.”

“I had a superb time, genuinely one of the best holidays I’ve ever had. I’ve come back even more in love with bikes than I was before, and with a real desire to improve my riding and do more on two wheels.” Rob Strode
