Your chance to help choose the winners by Rachael Dodd This year’s Win a Dream Wedding competition takes a step closer to finding a winning couple today. We can now reveal the 2015 entrants.

A dream wedding worth approximately £20,000 awaits one lucky couple listed in this supplement. Start voting today to get your favourite couple in the top 10. Voting coupons will be printed in The Herald every day until April 22, with a deadline of April 24 at noon to get them to us. When the votes have been counted a judging panel will have the unenviable task of picking just one couple from the final 10 to win. The competition has been giving brides and grooms-to-be a spectacular celebration courtesy of Plymouth’s top wedding businesses since 2013. Last year’s competition winners, Hayley Adams and Lee Teale, were blown away by their prize wedding. Hayley said: “The whole process has been amazing. I still can’t really get over what the

providers have given to us and all of them have gone above and beyond.” “It’s absolutely nuts and it’s gone so fast but it has been brilliant,” added Hayley. This will be the third year running that The Herald and Drakes Jewellers have collaborated to bring about this amazing competition. Drakes will also be supplying the couple’s rings and staff at the firm can’t wait to meet the competition winners. Drakes Director Monique Hirschman said: “We love being part of Win a Dream Wedding and getting to meet so many lovely people along the way. “We have been overwhelmed by the response to this year’s competition and we are so excited to meet our next winners. Let the fun begin!” The beautiful Buckland Tout-Saints Hotel will be this year’s dream wedding venue. This perfectly formed period manor house is set in nearly five acres of lavishly planted and lovingly kept grounds. General manager Gemma Edmonds is proud to call Buckland Tout-Saints the dream wedding venue of 2015: “I am delighted that Buckland ToutSaints has been chosen as the venue for this year’s Win a Dream Wedding competition. It is fantastic to be able to offer our very special country house hotel as a prize to make some perfect wedding memories for a lucky couple. “We consider it a privilege to be part of a couple’s wedding and know that we played a key part in ensuring they had the most perfect day.” On top of these incredible prizes, the winning couple will also receive wedding photography from Clare Kinchin, a wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses from The Wedding Company, suit hire from The Groom’s Room, wedding cake from Edible Essence, hair and beauty from Purity Salon, stationery from F3 Design, décor from Seaspray, videography from Life Video designs and even tango lessons from Salsa Conmigo.

Amber-Jane O’Riley and Mark Coaker

10 01

I would love to win this competition, for so many reasons, reasons which I can’t explain in no more than fifty words. These past years have been a whirlwind for us both. I can’t wait to be his wife, to have him as my husband, forever and always, by my side.

Amie Brown and Thomas Dixon

10 03

10 04

Chloe Evans and Rob Sword

10 05

We met in 2006 as friends and became a couple in 2011. I have three children from a previous relationship and we have a daughter together. If Rob and I won this competition it would simply make two best friends and our families extremely happy, knowing we couldn't afford a dream like this on our own.

10 07

I would love to surprise my fiancé with her dream wedding as it's something we have no chance of affording after our daughter was born. She deserves to have the wedding of her dreams and by golly I will give it to her as she is my world. My angel!!!

Anna Drazkiewicz and Ian Pearson

10 06

We wanted to get married but Anna fell pregnant and all of our money was instead spent on buying and moving to a new, more suitable home. ‘Humphrey’ (name of surprise bump for now) is due mid April. Winning this would complete our little family jigsaw quite brilliantly.

Cathryn Feltham and Lee Horn

Carla Tuckwell and Kevin Smith After nine years together, on Christmas Day a very nervouslooking Kev asked me to marry him. We are now both very excited about becoming husband and wife and would love to win our dream wedding and be able to end the year as Mr and Mrs Smith.

Tom and I have been together four years. 2014 didn't start well for us. We fell pregnant, lost my job and were evicted BUT we flipped our life around. We got our first home, engaged, our baby Dougie and are now ready to be wed and share a family name.

Anna Orzol and Daniel Sharratt

Amy Hay and Kyle Prince Why we would like to win the prize: Three years ago Kyle left his life up North and moved to the other end of the country to be with me, it would be our dream to truly celebrate our love for each other. I cannot wait to marry my best friend, my soul mate.

The Herald, Monday March 30 2015

10 08

We are a local couple and have recently welcomed our daughter Megan into our family. We want to cement our family through the commitment of marriage. The fabulous prize is everything we have dreamt of, from the amazing rings to the fantastic venue and everything that makes the day complete.

Cheryl Hunter and Andrew Peach

We would love to win this competition as being married would mean the world to both of us and our little boy! Family is the most important thing in the world and it would be lovely to make our family complete by sharing commitment, love, life, and all being one by sharing the same surname. I would marry my man in a second, no matter where. Being his wife would mean the absolute world to me.

Me and Andrew would love to win the wedding as we really want a full festival-themed wedding at a beautiful location in Cornwall, where all our family members (and 50 children!) could attend and join in fun with lots of festival games and entertainment as well as great live bands!

10 10

We’ve been together for five years and engaged for one; we’ve got a gorgeous seven-month-old son. It would be our dream to get married this year as we are very much in love and want to share our love for each other with our families and friends.

Chloe Lucas and Matthew Davies

10 12

Christina Hawkins and Chris Clapham

10 13

We got engaged on December 20, 2014 and I lost my mother in December 2014 and was very upset at the prospect of not having my mum there on our wedding day. I want to make the day as special as I can, for not only my fiance and I, but for my dad.

After being a single mum for eight years, I decided to start dating and met Marc. He changed my life and my two daughters’ lives phenomenally. Marc’s offered us the stability of a home, he’s father to my daughters and the chance to get married is way beyond what I ever dare dreamed.

We are childhood sweethearts and have been together for seven years, engaged for one year. Winning this prize would mean the world to us as we have been through some hard times lately. And marriage would be a small step in a life-long journey together.

We would love to be considered for the chance of a lifetime. Like almost everyone, money is the only thing stopping us from living our dreams. We are eccentric, happy and loving. Together we are best friends, soul mates and believe if we smile, the world will smile with us!

Demi Coles and Danny Wicks We met each other back in January 2012 , been engaged since June 2013 and we have lived together since July 2014. Now we just need to do the last step by tying the knot. We love each other very much and we would love to win!

Dominique Baker and Matt Wright

10 17

We would absolutely love to win this wedding. We have been together for over seven years and he is my best friend. We have been through a lot together but I couldn’t imagine being apart. Winning this would make our dreams come true and start the rest of our lives together.

They’re a fab couple and they would really deserve this. Donna is always there for her friends.

10 18

Elizabeth Jones and Stephen Adams

Elisabeth Flower and James Thomson

10 19

I’d love to win as me and my partner have been engaged for just over year, but unfortunately due to lack of money we’ve not been able to proceed. My partner is completing an apprenticeship with the MoD so any spare money goes on our family.

10 20

Emily Colton and Jordan Anderton

10 21

We are a young couple, together now for three years, who are ready to start the next chapter of our lives as husband and wife. We both grew up in the same local town and cannot think of anywhere better to say “I do” than set within the beauty of Devon.

I love my partner so much and I don't know what I would have done without his amazing support over the past year. I would love to win just to show how much he really means to me and just to show my appreciation for him and our little family.

Emma Gregory and Paul Johnson My fiance and I have known each other for years as friends; we finally became a couple in June 2013, we knew it was the right time in our lives to finally be together. I love him so much and to marry this man would be a dream come true.

10 22

Emma Martin and Matt Rundle

Emma Monk and Michael Tidman I think that Mike deserves a great wedding. After five years together and three of them him battling Crohns Disease, I think it would just be everything to both of us. He is just the most amazing guy in the world.

10 23

The Herald, Monday March 30 2015

10 24

I am 22 and Emma is 21. We have been together since we were 15 at school. We live together while I am finishing university and we have not been able to save up much money. I want to surprise her with a wonderful day with family and friends.

I have been struggling with depression for the past four years and all the way through, Rory has been there for me. He’s been on my nerves and under my feet, but by my side regardless. I would love to be able to thank him with a spectacular wedding day.

I am a devoted mum of two who wants to make her family complete. It has always been my dream job to find the man that makes my heart complete. Ever since I met Patrick I knew he was the one. I want to spend the rest of my life with him, I have never been as happy as I am with Patrick.

10 28

Jade Warren and Frazer Hardy

We have been engaged since August 2014 and both, unfortunately, are at the moment not working. We love each other so much and Chris would love to give me my dream wedding and begin our happily ever after but funds are just non existent. We want to be husband and wife.

10 30

Jenessa Cox and Jason Burbidge

10 31

We have been through a lot over the five years we have been together, both good and bad. But the last year has been the toughest; we tried for a baby and suffered two miscarriages as a result. If we won the competition it would be amazing!

Georgia Davey and Steve

Gemma Curtis and Andrew Hatch We’ve been engaged for 14 years and would be married, but in 2002 we had a surprise pregnancy and in 2005 we had our second child. And then Andrew stuck with me through a number of very hard years while I suffered PND. Now it seems like we’re finally ready.

THX-E01-S4

We have been together for six years and engaged for just over one. We’d love to get married but with a new baby, money is tight; every spare penny we have goes towards our daughter. We’ve stuck together through everything and this would make our dreams come true.

We would love to win a dream wedding as we have been together for nearly eight years now.We are still madly in love.We are the best of friends and would do anything for each other! We have a lovely son who is five years old and he would love his mummy and daddy to get married so he can carry the rings and we can then all be a “Hardy”. This would mean so much to us all! Plus both our families are dying for us to get married!

Jessica Davies and Ollie Liddard

10 32

This year my partner and I have managed to juggle work, welcomed our beautiful son into the world, got engaged, started a home from nothing whilst both returning to full time education despite both having mental health issues. It’s been tough but our love is stronger. We are aged 22 and 19.

I would like to win the prize because my life is to make her happy, everything I do is for her smile and this would make her smile forever. Watching her come down the aisle would complete me, I love her unconditionally.

10 35

10 36

Kelly Tyler and Daniel Sturrock

10 37

We have been together for six years. We met at 15, Dan moved away and we re-connected on Facebook. He moved back from Scotland and six years later he proposed on the local radio and featured us on the front page of the Cornish Times in January 2014.

10 39

I’d love the chance to marry my boyfriend. We met over ten years ago when we were 15 and grew up together. He was my first love and we met again over a year ago and have been together ever since. He’s the love of my life and I’d love the opportunity to be able to surprise him and have a wedding. You would make my dream, our dream, come true if we won. We can’t afford a wedding yet even though we’re engaged.

Kelly Williams and Jamie Best

10 38

Me and Jamie have been together 10 years now and engaged for four years. We have two children, Lily who is six in May, and Daisy who will be three this October. It would be lovely to have our wedding all paid for as we always put our children first before ourselves so never seem to have enough money to be able to save to get married. It would be lovely for myself to have the same name as Jamie and my two girls too.

Laura Molloy and Neil Williams

Laura Liddiard and David Roberts Our daughter is very forward for her age. She’s decided that it’s time for Mummy and Daddy to get hitched and she asked especially that her Mummy has the same name as her. Can you make her and our wishes come true? We really hope that you can help us.

The Herald, Monday March 30 2015

10 40

We have been together for six years and have two children, one 10 weeks and one four years old. With a mortgage, bills and children, money is always spent on other things. I’ve lost count on how many times our four-year-old asks me why my name is different to his. So please help us all be a Williams.

10 46

This prize would truly last our lifetime. Not only will it make our year but a long-awaited and wanted celebration for family and friends. Our first baby together is due in June, so to also get married would be absolutely incredible! All our dreams could come true in 2015.

I met the love of my life nearly two years ago; destiny brought us together and I would love to give him the best wedding he could ever wish for. We met, had a coffee, and moved in together the next day...our lucky day is Friday 13th.

Ian and I met two weeks before my 17th birthday and have been together ever since. We’ve had our partying days, holidays, bought a flat and have had three beautiful children. Now all we need is to be wed! Our children have both our surnames as marriage has never been discussed ‘seriously...!’ Hopefully this competition could change all of that...

Louise Lewis and Lee Smith

We are a couple who finally found each other later in our lives. I have overcome serious illness. We entered last year and instead of getting married as we'd hoped, I gave birth to a surprise baby on November 9. Finalising this happiness would mean the world :-)

Would just be nice to marry my partner after 10 years together but have known him since primary school. We have two lovely children and would love to make our family complete x.

After meeting in Plymouth in 2007, a student and a sailor, we have spent a lot of time apart. Leaving the Navy in 2013 so we could start a family, unfortunately Richard found it difficult to settle and find work, and went to Egypt. Recently returning home, desperate not to be parted again, we would like to make our dreams come true.

Natasha Woodward and Richard Byrnes

We’ve been together since 2010 and engaged since 2011. Ben was in the Army and made a 640-mile round trip every weekend to see me. He made me believe in love again. Our son was born with a rare heart defect; that terrible time made us stronger and we became best friends. Ben now works in Plymouth and our baby girl is due in April. We’re saving for a larger house and plan to marry in 2017. Marrying sooner would make all of our dreams come true.

10 49

The Herald, Monday March 30 2015

We’ve been together over ten years and managed by ourselves to afford a deposit towards a mortgage only three years ago. We want children desperately but have always dreamed of doing it right and getting married first – but we are both nearly 30 now and no money for wedding in sight.

Rhianne Flint and Lee Donald

Rachel Craker and Michael Brooks

10 65

Together for six years, I popped the question on Christmas Day 2013, in a lovely romantic setting. I left rose petals in the shape of an arrow pointing her to me and I was on one knee, absolutely ecstatic that she agreed to be my wife. Rachel is the true love of my life and I want to give her everything she has dreamed of. We booked a wedding for August but had to cancel due to financial difficulties.

Myself and Sally recently had to leave our lovely home town of Plymouth, due to alternative employment. We take Plymouth with us on our Plymouth Bus! To win this prize would be totally amazing: from being a paper boy aged 13, I have read the Herald every day since!

10 71

We have been together for five years and engaged for three. I’m currently studying at Plymouth University. Callum is in the midst of changing jobs so this means we now have a lower income and can no longer save for a wedding. We have been trying to save for a wedding for three years but things just keep popping up. So hopefully we can catch a break and win a wedding and I can finally be married to the love of my life, Callum.

Sam Phipps and Jordan Spiller

10 70

Samantha Hookway and David Wilson We would like to win the prize because we were due to get married some three years ago but the ability to afford a wedding was put on hold indefinitely due to finding out we were expecting twins. Maisie and Emily were subsequently born in May 2012.

We have been together since August 2009, since we were 15! We have two children together and have been engaged since February 2011. We have been through a lot together but always come out stronger and more In love! We would love to be a proper family!

Sabrina Sacker and Callum Green

Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favourite. After losing our beautiful daughter last year, our life fell apart. The love and strength we found in one another, means no matter what happens… we'll face it together.

We’ve been together four years, and have a five-month-old daughter. We would like to win as now the baby is here we can’t afford to get married, but would love to complete our family with the perfect day for everyone. I’m an HCA at Derriford Hospital and Sam is a cleaner.

Samantha Whiting and Trevor Hooper

10 72

As primary carers for my grandad (aged 82), it would mean the world for us to win so that he can be present at our wedding. Life can be short and you never know what can happen and we want a wedding surrounded by the people we love the most.

We have been together coming up to six years in May this year and we’ve been engaged for two-anda-half years. We have two beautiful children, Harley, three, and Elsie seven-and-a-half months. We would absolutely love to complete our little family unit by getting married! It would mean the world to us!

10 79

I love my partner so much, we’ve been together since New Year’s Eve millennium. We bought a house and had children but never managed to save enough for our wedding. I’d like to give her the best wedding but fear we would never afford it otherwise.

Sian Harris and Gareth Healy

10 78

Sophie Wreford and Matthew Brimacombe I and my partner have been inseparable for just over two years, after meeting at work. We are now a family of three with our beautiful little girl. Winning this competition would be a dream come true for the both of us, as we’d love a big family wedding.

A whirlwind romance! Extreme dates: 1. sailed to Drake’s Island for a picnic. 2.Lunch in Jersey on the Queen’s yacht. 3. Notting Hill carnival. Ross proposed on Christmas Day, and created a treasure hunt around the house on a quest to find eternal love We really can’t wait to get married.

Sarah Chapman and Scott Terry We would like to win this prize because we have been engaged for a year on the 18th of April and we have both had a rough year and would love to brighten up the year by getting married. We stick together through thick and thin. Soulmates isn’t the word for the bond we have.

Gareth and I were friends for over 15 years and finally together and engaged. He's everything I wish for and as much as we want our perfect day, it means more who is there. Nothing ever happens for us really luck wise but we can all but try, so our family can witness a lovable moment and win a absolute dream – we deserve it so so much.

Sophie Brown and Lee Davies Me and Lee would love to win this competition. We have so many plans about our wedding to make our plans and dreams come alive after everything that’s happened. We have always had to put it on hold. Fingers crossed for us.

We have been together since we were 11 years old. We have two beautiful children but are unable to afford our dream day due to our four-old-daughter having a rare disorder, and our two-year-old son is deaf.We would love to get married now, to see our daughter walk down the aisle looking like a beautiful princess. Please consider us: it would be an amazing day for us to remember as a family.

Jason and I have been together for nearly three years and he is my Prince Charming. He is an amazing dad to our girls and works to support us all so we have all got what we need. I have always dreamed about my big white wedding; the only thing stopping us is no matter how much we work we struggle to save; our children come first. I would love to win so we can get the day we both deserve.

Terresa Mitchell and Danny Grant

Tanya Parsons and Spencer Owen We have been together 10 years, were not even engaged, yet I would love to ask him and surprise him with a dream wedding, else it will take another 10 years for him to ask me and another 10 to even pay for a wedding .

Gemma Collins and Jack Vine

There was a young couple from Plymouth in Devon, who couldn't save enough for wedding heaven, she was a student and he was a plumbing farmer, so all they could afford for a feast was chevon!

Winning the prize won’t change the way we feel about each other or how we as a couple work, though it will allow us to make more beautiful memories to add to the ones we already have. True love is hard to find, but we have.

Matt and I have been together 10 years this December and are still very much in love. We have been saving for many years to buy our own home and last year we finally got on to the property ladder. Our next dream is to be happily married.

I have been with my girlfriend Sara for eight years. We love the outdoors. I love riding and extreme sports, Sara loves animals and is now a dog sitter and walker. Sara is seeing friends getting married and is always the bridesmaid. On her birthday I bought her a mobile phone, and put an engagement ring in the case...All she does now is look at wedding venues and dresses. What a dream for her to win this – and lovely for me too.

We have had a little girl who is now 15 months old who has just started to walk, so it would be magical to see her walk down with me to her amazing father so I can have the surname Boylan and we can be a proper family.

Love had always landed me flat on my face until I met Kyle. He has not only shown me how much he loves me, but taught me to love myself again. We don’t have much, but what we have we cherish. Optimism sometimes prevails. He gave me that.

After eight years and two beautiful children together we’ve tried to save but having children can make that difficult and our children always come first. But we know this is it; there will be no one else for us and we would love to share that with our loved ones.

Ross proposed to me on the 26th July 2014, the day we moved into our first home together. However, buying the house means that we have had to put planning our wedding day on hold. Winning the competition and getting married would complete everything for us.

We have been together for three years and 2014 brought us our very own house together. I leave Steve daily hints to which he replies ‘we can't afford to get married!’ This would make our dreams come true and Steve wouldn't be able to say no! :)

Donna Williams and Dave Hammond

Hayley King and Chris Dignand I am a mum of five and also a nanny to my gorgeous grandson. I met my partner two years ago; he’s been the best support to me.It would be my children’s wish to make us a proper family, which we have never had, for us to get married.

As maid of honour I felt I should apply for them. This couple are both so kind, caring, loyal and bubbly. Always smiling. They have defied the odds together. They deserve the icing on the cake – this lovely wedding. They would love this to celebrate their big day with their family.

Rachel Newport and Steve Smeeth

I have been with my partner Lee for 10 years. We had our precious daughter in September 2014, we've also had a mortgage since 2012. We love each other so much but due to the mortgage, general cost of living and our daughter it’s very unaffordable for us. Please help us.

Josie Scobling and Lisa McLernon

I have had some ups and downs in my life and I've finally found the man of my dreams five years ago. We have a little boy, James, who is 18 months old. He is our life. It would be a dream come true to have a white wedding, please.

As little girls, we grew up dreaming of big weddings with stunning dresses. In 2012 we became best friends and fell in love. Friends realised before we did; we were in denial! Now thoughts are on saving for future IVF treatment to have children, a lavish wedding a distant dream.

I asked my girlfriend to marry me in Fuerteventura in August 2014; we have currently just bought a house so money is very tight, but I know that she has always wanted a big wedding so I wanted to enter this to see if I can make her dreams come true!

Last year’s competition winners, Hayley Adams and Lee Teale, were blown away by their prize wedding. Hayley said: “The whole process has been amazing. I still can’t really get over what the providers have given to us and all of them have gone above and beyond. It’s absolutely nuts and it’s gone so fast but it has been brilliant.”
