Project XY – The Project Management Chromosomes PMI Netherlands Chapter supports this project from PMI Northern Italy Chapter (PMI-NIC) and invites it members to participate in the survey. "Project XY: the project management chromosomes" is a research project addressing the notion of gender diversity in project management. Based on Fritjof Capra definition of feminine and masculine paradigms, the research aims assess the way feminine and masculine paradigms (i.e. valuesystem, ways of thinking, decision making, relational approach) are integrated in Project Management models and, most of all, in the practices of professionals. The main goal is to identify “the” project management chromosomes as a resultof a combination of personal attitudes (either feminine or masculine), PMBOK® guidelines and best practices. In order to reach this goal, the research needs to collect the experience of Project Managers from various countries, with different seniority, experience andprofessional background. The questionnaire will be accessible online from 14th December 2009 to 31st January 2010. To access the online survey access, please click the link below. http://lnx.pmi-nic.org/LimeSurvey/2/index.php?sid=14417&lang=en The results of the research will also be available online and they will also bepresented among the initiatives the Northern Italy Chapter is planning for the 2010 PMI® EMEA Congress to be held in Milan.
