Foundation advocates nationwide domestications of national youth policy

Promad Foundation, a civic tech nonprofit organisation, has called for the domestication of the National Youth Policy (NYP) 2019-2023 by the remaining 34 states for effective youth civic participation .

Autism Day: NGOs seeks inclusive education curriculum for PWD

World Autism Awareness Day, a non -governmental organization, Ike Foundation for Autism (IFA) in collaboration with other relevant NGOs has called on the federal government to set aside functional educational curricula that can accommodate the needs of persons living with disabilities in the country.

World Autism Awareness Day is observed on April 2 to raise awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and promote the livelihood of people having autism.

It is also aimed at encouraging early diagnosis and intervention that can lead to improved outcomes for individuals with autism.

Omokungbe said that the research launched by Promad Foundation was with support from LEAP Africa and the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) in Abuja.

He said that the call for nationwide domestication of the NYP was imperative following the implementation of the foundation’s Accelerating Youth Civic Participation and Development (AYCP) project in FCT.
