Buhari mourns Ladi Bako, Kano’s ex-first lady

A statement by the Senior Spacial Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu quoted Buhari to have said in a tribute:

“The late Hajiya Ladi was a great lady. She defined an era, and will always be remembered for her faithfulness to her family and the Kano community.

“As a State Council of the NLC, we are worried and concerned about the safety of not just the students, but the security of all, and we are calling on the State Government and all security agencies to do the needful; these bandits who have continued to exercise lordship over some parts of the State must be flushed out.”

May Allah give courage and perseverance to those she left behind to bear this irreparable loss.”
