Kebbi State Governor’s wife in shock over orderly’s death

The wife of Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Zanab Shinkafi Bagudu has expressed deep shock over the death of her orderly, Inspector Hassana Sule.

The late Police orderly who worked with the Kebbi’s

First lady for over 7 years, died on Tuesday 11th of April, 2023 at 2330hrs, following a brief illness at her country home, in Kogi State.

The news of her death was announced by her sister, Balkisu Sule.

In her condolence message, Dr. Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu however took solace in the Quranic prescription that “every soul will test death because we are from Allah and to Him we shall return”.

She fervently prayed Allah to grant late Hassana abundant mercy, admit her into Aljannah Firdausi and give her family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, a high powered delegation led by the Liaison Officer, Kebbi State Government Lodge, Abuja, Alhaji Ibrahim Garba has been dispatched to condole with the family in Kogi State.

Late Inspector Hassana Sule has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

Governor Inuwa Mourns Ahmed Alkali, Gombe State Polytechnic Registrar

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has expressed grief over the demise of the Registrar, Gombe State Polytechnic Bajoga, Ahmad Alkali, whose sad event occurred yesterday after a brief illness.

In a message of condolence signed by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director General on Press Affairs, Governor Inuwa Yahaya, who is currently performing the Lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia, described the demise of the Chairman of Gombe State chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, NIPR as deeply painful.

He noted that Alkali was well known for his humility, strength of character and examplary conduct, adding that his death will leave a huge vacuum, not only in the academic spheres by the state in general.

The Governor recalled the outstanding services and contributions of the deceased when he worked at the National Universities Commission ( NUC), the Federal University of Kashere where he rose to the position of Deputy Registrar and most recently the State Polytechnic Bajoga where he served as Registrar until his death.

Governor Inuwa added that the late Ahmed Alkali had contributed immensely to the growth and development of the academic community in FUK and Gombe State in general.

The Governor conveyed his deepest condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the entire Alkali Modibbo family, the management and staff of Gombe State State Polytechnic Bajoga, as well as the FUK community over the great loss.

He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus.
