Another casualty hits PDP as Duba dumps to APC in Niger

The Niger State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP received another casualty as a two time Senatorial candidate from Niger North, Alhaji Sani Duba has dumped the party for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The PDP stalwart was welcomed in to the APC by the Governorship candidate Umar Mohammed Bago and the State party chairman, Alhaji Haliru Zakari Jikantoro who was represented by the Zone C deputy chairman, Aminu Musa Dobi at the party secretariat in Minna.

Bago described Duba as a big party man whose coming will surely boost the chances of the APC to victory for the progress and development of Niger state.

He assured him of all rights, privileges and opportunities as a member of the ruling party in the state as required, urging for his continued support.

In his remarks, the state APC chairman appreciated the bold step taken by the decampee and thanked him for bringing all his supporters and admirers across the zone in to the party fold.

Responding, Sani Duba expressed satisfaction over the warm reception accorded him by the stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

He called on all his supporters and admirers across the zone to come out en mass to vote for the ruling party that has demonstrated quality leadership and good governance in the state to ensure development.
