Police presents N58.3m cheques to 32 late personnels families in Niger

Niger State Commissioner of Police, Ogundele J. Ayodeji, has presented cheques of N58,578,566.66k to 32 families of Police personnel who died in active service in the Command within the year 2020/2022.

Presentation of cheques to the next of kin and family members was under the IGP’s Group Life Assurance Benefits Schemes.
The Commissioner of Police appreciated the IGP for the speedy processing of the claim welfare package.
CP Ayodeji urged the families of the deceased to judiciously use the resources in order to improve the living standard of the next of kin, the children and the widows.
He applauded the IGP for fast tracking the release of funds in order to provide immediate succor to the families that are left behind by deceased police personnel.
A beneficiary, Mrs Magret Bulus commended the IGP, the Commissioner of Police and the State Police Command, as well as the Command’s Pension/ Insurance Desk Officer for their efforts towards making the claims a reality.
