This was contained in a statement on Sunday by the EFCC’s spokesperson, Mr Wilson Uwujaren. The anti-graft agency pointed out that the claim of raiding the home of the former governor of Lagos State by the commission was not true.
According to the statement, “The attention of the EFCC has been drawn to a report circulating in the social media, claiming that operatives of the Commission raided the home of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, standard-bearer of APC, in the forthcoming presidential election and recovered a humongous sum of N400 billion.
“The Commission wishes to state that no such operation was carried out by the EFCC.
“The public is enjoined to disregard the report as fake news,” the statement said.
2023 census: NPC organises capacity building workshop for media professionals

The leadership of the National Population Commission (NPC) on Friday organized capacity building workshop for the media professionals on effective coverage of the 2023 population and Housing census.
In an interviewed with newsmen after the workshop, the Federal Commissioner representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at the National Population Commission, Hon. Joseph Shazin Kwali, said he would remain committed to enlighten the residents of the FCT on the 2023 Population and Housing census.
He charged the journalists to deem it necessary to disseminate information to the grassroots for the sake of the people living there.
He also appealed to the Journalists to shun negative reporting on the 2023 census, saying that journalists should make sure the poor are well informed about the National census.
On his remarks, Shazin Kwali, advised inhabitants of Abuja to co-operate with Enumerators during the 2023 Population and Housing census.
