Federal Mortgage bank delivers #3billion housing estates in Jigawa
Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria has delivered three low coast housing estates constructed at the coast of over #3 billion in Jigawa state.
Speaking at the occasion for the commissioning of 100 housing constructed by the Mortgage Bank I’m Dutse capital , Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar Sa’id, the effort will complement the state government effort in provision of affordable accessible accomodations for all in the state.

The governor who was represented by the state Commissioner of Land, Regional and Urban development Hon Sagir Musa Ahmad said, his government has allocated thousands of plot to private and organization for the construction of residential houses.
He however revealed that,the plan is under way for the commencement of massive housing easy ate across the 27 local government of the state for the benefits of workers and other interested people.
In his speech the Managing Director Federal Mortgage Bank Mr Madu Hamman said the one hundred housing estate was constructed in collaboration with Nigeria Labor Congress, NLC, TUC and NACA
He said the houses are equipped with access road, electricity,water and other basic amenities required, it also consist one bedroom 20 units, two and three bedrooms 40 units each.
“This housing estate constructed in 744 area, Dutse Capital is one of the three estate we constructed in the state at the coast of over #3 billion”.
He maintained that, the effort is aimed at easing the housing deficit in the country and also help workers to own their hous.
“Equally these projects we embarked all over the nation will provide jobs opportunity, reduce corruption and enhance social and economic development of the nation” he declared.
The MD also commended Jigawa state government for it’s support in actualizing the project including allocation of land and other logistics.
