Board approves 2022 promotion of senior officers

The Civil Defence Correctional Fire and Immigration Services, Board has approved the promotion of 8,365 Officers in the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), 3,472 Ôfficers in the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), 327 Officers in the Federal Fire Service (FFS) and 5,167 Officers in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by Ja’afaru Ahmed, Secretary to the Board, who signed on behalf of the Chairman of the Board, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
It said the Chairman of the board, disclosed this after the Board’s 03-23 mneeting which held on the Tuesday 23rd May, 2023 at the Board’s headquarters in Abuja.
“Aregbsola said that the approval was made taking cognizance of merit and performance of the Officers.
“The Chairman of the Board congratulated the newly promoted Officers, adding that their promotion was a call for service to the Ministry of Interior, the Board, and their respective Services.
“He also urged them to work harder towards achieving mandates, visions of their respective Services and ensuring the internal security of the country,” the statement said.
