Changki said also that the Center decided to include a touch of Korean and Nigerian cultures in the events, including dressing, song presentation, games and excursion to make it worthwhile and memorable.

Speaking also at the event, one of the kids from School for Special Needs Kuje, Muhammed Muhammad, who commended the KCCN for giving them the opportunity to learn and expand their knowledge of Korean Culture, also said the pupils are in need of music instruments in their studio.

He therefore urged the KCCN to assist them with music instruments in their studio, adding that the pupils will not forget in haste the kind gesture which the Center has offered them in the 2023 Children’s day celebration.

Also speaking, Zainab Ibrahim, who also thanked the center for the opportunity, also urged that the recognition accorded them be sustained in subsequent Children’s Day celebration.

She also urged the center to assist the school with other learning materials so as to make their academic programme easy.

Garba Shehu, Laolu Akande, Bayo Omoboriowo, other presidential aides bag special national awards

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the conferment of Special National Honours Award on 339 Nigerians, including Garba Shehu, his Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity.

Shehu and Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity (Office of the Vice President) were conferred with the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).

The Permanent Secretary, State House, Tijjani Umar also received the National Honour of OON.

The President’s Personal Photographers for the eight years of his administration, Bayo Omoboriowo and Sunday Aghaeze bagged Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) and Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), respectively.

Also listed for the National Honours Award for their diligent services to the nation are Tolu Ogunlesi, the Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, MON; Tolani Alli, Personal Photographer to the Vice
