To a very large extent, of course. Everyone is by now aware that Uba Sani is a committed and dedicated achiever. As a first timer in the Nigerian Senate for the only first four years he served, he is on record as having surpassed the efforts of most of his colleagues in the Ninth Assembly in terms of sponsorship of motions and initiating bills that worked and welfare of his constituents.

How would you generally describe the electoral victory of the current Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani?

For me, and I believe for every discerning citizen of Kaduna State, the victory of Malam Uba Sani is representative of a major paradigm shift across generations, which has been elusive for several decades.

Uba Sani, by far, the youngest to have ever become Governor in Kaduna State, is by disposition, a passionate believer in the organic links between generations.

He is always available for young people and the old providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship. With Uba Sani, it is certainly going to be an entirely new dawn that would see the potential of the young people of Kaduna state sufficiently harnessed as the most productive segment of the society.

He has moved several important and people-focused motions that scaled through and became law. With this background, he is coming to governance in Kaduna State with loads of proven integrity, honesty, and wealth of experience.

Well, those who know the man would live to remember him for his legendary generosity. If he is not the most masses-friendly politician in the Northwest, he should be the second on the region. I say this because his community-friendly programmes have been unparalleled in the recent democratic history of this nation. He spent hundreds of millions continuously on scholarship for indigent people and became the messiah of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Kaduna State as a Senator

Before he became governor, what spectacular things do you think he did that might have endeared him to the people?

These are all life-touching and I dare say very few politicians in today’s Nigeria devote their personal resources to the upliftment of the common man. So, on a scale of 100, I give His Excellency 90% pass mark on masses friendliness.

Rural Kaduna, according to a school of thought would also require a touch of the spirit of urban renewal His Excellency has reiterated times without number, especially in his engagement with stakeholders in the rural areas, that they would be part of his priority concerns. He has restated similar commitment to the welfare of youths, women and girls as a renown activist and politician. I forsee a revolutionary outcome in terms of governance in Kaduna State under the watch of my principal, by the special grace of God.
