Getting here (and around)
Port Macquarie is a four hour drive from Sydney, and therefore within comfortable driving distance (dual carriageway) for over five million Australians. It’s conveniently located approximately half-way between Sydney and Brisbane. Prefer to fly? We’re well connected, with direct one-hour flights from both Sydney and Brisbane. The airport has recently received a $21million upgrade, and is only a five minute taxi ride from our CBD. Wauchope railway station is 15 minutes from the CBD, and has bus connections to our central Coach Terminal. Once you’re here, it’s so easy to get around (we’re known as the ‘ten minute town’). Much of the CBD accommodation is within easy walking distance from key event and conferencing venues.
