Novel Spring Session Programme
The Novel Construction Spring Session will be held online from 14 to 15 April 2021. The agenda of the session will be announced mid-March and will be available on our website: www.iploca.com/novel-construction-sessions.
The Novel Construction Programme will include an open forum on Wednesday afternoon for members and nonmember companies to present their latest developments within the industry. The following day all Working Groups will connect during the afternoon to discuss how to further develop the content of the Road to Success. This will be followed by group presentations.
If you would like to suggest a presentation for Wednesday afternoon, please submit the title and a brief outline to gregoire.demontmollin@iploca.com. All the presentations and group work will take place via Zoom video and audio conference. A link will be sent to all registered attendees nearer to the date of the event. Should you wish to participate in a Working Group, please contact the appropriate group leader: Please note: the venue originally planned in Athens for the Spring session will be retained for the Fall Novel Construction Session, which is scheduled to take place from 27 to 28 October 2021.
Passing of John P. Best
We are saddened to have heard of the passing of John Best, Mears Group Quanta Services Inc., due to COVID-19 complications on 19 January.
As an attorney, he was a dedicated and hard working contributor to risk mitigation research within the New Trends and Innovation Novel Construction Working Group.
Our sincere condolences go to Mears Group and to John’s family.
