Annual General Meeting

IPLOCA President Kelly Osborn presented his ‘Year in Review’ during the Annual General Meeting, and was pleased to confirm that, amongst other objectives, the Board had successfully selected and brought onboard the new Executive Secretary, and had developed a financial plan to ensure the Association’s future ability to serve the membership. The results of the 2023-2024 Board of Directors nominations were ratified. The IPLOCA audited accounts for 2022 were also approved and the auditors re-appointed for the 2023 financial year.

Amendments to the IPLOCA By-laws were proposed and considered approved since no objections were raised. Current membership fees have been unchanged since 2008, and the Association needs to address this, since over the last 15 years increasing costs have eroded its finances. The membership fees payable for 2024 will be: CHF 6,250 for Regular Members, and CHF 5,000 for Associate Members.

The Board had also proposed to open up the Executive Committee to active representatives of all members, not just Regular Members, and allow for a serving director to become President should the Board decide they are the most suitable and available candidate.

The incoming President, Roberto Castelli, closed the meeting with his objectives for the coming term.
