The submission rate for the annual health, safety & environment statistics was sixty-seven per cent: fifty Regular Members and five Associate Members. The latest aggregate health, safety and environmental statistics are available on this page: www.iploca.com/news-media/hsestatistics/ Twelve entries were submitted for the IPLOCA Health & Safety Award sponsored by TC Energy. Eight entries were received for the Corporate Social Responsibility Award sponsored by TotalEnergies, eight entries for the Quality Award sponsored by TC Energy and six entries for the New Technologies Award sponsored by BP. The Convention & Board Meeting Location’s main task is to assist the Board and the Secretariat with the advance selection (two years ahead) of convention locations, proposing locations for board meetings and assisting with the selection of speakers for the conventions. It also has an advisory role in the convention location rotation scheme.

The Scholarship Programme

Project Lead: Kelly Osborn (U.S. Pipeline, Inc.)

Actions:

Ten students, who are children or grandchildren of IPLOCA member companies, were selected as recipients of the 2023 IPLOCA scholarships. Six scholarships were given to students linked to Regular Members, spread across all the regions that applied. Since there were no applications received from Europe Northwest and Latin America, the next highest scoring applicants were selected. Two scholarships were also awarded to students of Associate Members. Applications for the 2024 programme will open on 1 January and will also be available to students from trade schools.
