A letter from your WHATS BUZZIN IN THE HIVE!
Oh my goodness, I can’t believe it’s already AUGUST! This summer is going by soooo fast, and it feels like there’s so much I need to do before it ends… (AP homework anyone?) But always always, Key Club keeps me so happy, and seeing all of you guys makes me even happier! I just want to take this time to thank you guys; I thank you all each and every day, for all the joy, spirit, and love you guys have shown not only me, but each other, and even other divisions! I’m truly so happy and honored to be your Lieutenant Governor, and I’m proud of everything we’ve done. I hope you always remember that we are a team – there’s no me, you, or them – it’s always US. As we go back to school and transition back into that mood, I am hoping our bond will remain unbreakable and even stronger! Super excited to see you all soon!
In Love and Service,
Sea Choi
Lieutenant Governor of Division 21 Pacific Northwest District Key Club International

A FEW WORDS FROM YOUR. EXECUTIVE ASSISTANTS; Hey Key Clubbers! I can't believe it's already August, and school will start in less than a month... BUT, however many days we have left of summer, let's try to enjoy those days to the max! I would like to first congratulate each and every one of us the bumblebees for winning the spirit stick at Seattle Rally whether you were there with us or not! There were many other divisions with tons of spirit, but in the end, none of the others could BEE-t our spirit! Though we didn't have a July DCM due to the Seattle Rally, I hope you will join us for the August DCM and also the additional officer training conference if you happen to be a club officer! Also, make sure you guys are all involved not only in the division but at the club level as well. Whether you are an officer or simply a dedicated member who loves to help with service projects, fundraisers, and other activities, there are so many ways to get involved, and I hope you guys will all take an initiative to explore creative ways to serve! Thank you again so much for being the BEE-st division, and it's truly such an honor to serve you guys as part of the divisional board. I hope that August will be the best month of summer yet for all of you guys, and until the next month, adios amigos!
ANDREW BAEK
Hey Key Clubbers! Hope you're ready to dive into August and drown into those AP homework! School is approaching very quickly, so it's best to make new goals for this school year. What is it that you want to achieve this year? Be more involved in Key Club? Get over 50 hours of service? Become the next international president?!?! Always strive to take the extra step. I can't wait to see what you guys achieve this school year! Say hi to me at future dcm's! DENNIS MACH
Bumblebees! It was super amazing seeing everyone who came to the first Bee My Baby: SASS -- you guys were all so nice and supportive of each other and you gave great hugs! I hope everyone is having a buzzin’ summer, tell us all about it when we see you at Seattle Rally! It’ll be really fintastic to connect with friends/new people while learning how we can make a bigger impact together through leadership and service. Let’s all stay cool, find ways to positively impact others (even little things), and have a fab, fun, happy summer!! Why is Dennis going to Seattle Rally? There’s going to be lots of HONEYS! VY NGUYEN

SECRETARY: Hey D21! Hey Key Clubbers! Hope everyone has been having a nice summer! Though it’s summer, there are still a lot of Key Club events! Did you guys attend Seattle Rally? I did and I had a blast! Meeting all the other divisions in our area and learning more about Key Club through the sessions was super fun! I’m glad that I was able to see so many Key Clubbers from our division there! We even won the spirit stick, good job guys! Some upcoming events are our August DCM and an inter-social hosted by Jackson, Meadowdale, and Monroe! Our August DCM is coming up soon on August 16th so be on the lookout for updates. Check the event page to sign up for things to bring (like firewood or graham crackers). The intersocial is in the same week on August 19th. For this event you need to RSVP because the officers leading it need to know whether you are bowling or not. School is coming in about a month so it’s the perfect time to do some last minute summer fundraising as well as time to discuss plans and membership recruitment for the upcoming school year! That’s all for this month! Remember to enjoy the sun (when it comes out) and don’t procrastinate on your summer homework!

EDITOR: Hi bumblebees!
First off, I want to say thank you to all of those who attended Seattle Rally & helped Division 21 win the spirit stick! You guys are seriously the best! If you didn't go this year, I highly recommend you go next year! S/O to all LTGs at Seattle Rally for making it super lit! If you loved Seattle Rally, I hope you guys attended Portland Rally & Tacoma Rally and had a great time!! Sadly, summer is almost coming to an end and we only have a few weeks left until school starts but hey, that means more volunteering opportunities & service, and back to club meetings! Although everyone's main focus right now is to finish their summer homework, please don't forget to attend the August DCM which will be at the beach (LITTTTT) Can't wait to see you guys soon!!! SHIRLEY KIM | LYNNWOOD HIGH SCHOOL There are many things about Seattle rally that made me smile, but some of my favorite moments about it was that I was extremely glad to reunite with some of my friends that I have met at Dcon and some new faces as well. When it was time for the forums they were great too since it taught me new things from each session. My favorite forums were the kpop dancing just because I got to dance with other key clubbers and the ice breakers because it helped me make new friends while getting closer to the friends l already knew. I really was happy when our division won the spirit stick too since it showed us that we are truly one spirited division and I'm proud to be part of that. Seattle rally really has been a great experience for me and I really do recommend others to go too in the future!! :^) RADA SOONTHONVAN | LYNNWOOD HIGH SCHOOL This year was my first time attending Seattle Rally and I had such an amazing experience! It was so great to be surrounded by such a large group of spirited key clubbers again, as well as being able see so many new and old faces before the summer (unfortunately) ends. What made me the happiest was definitely at the end when it was announced that D21 had won the spirit stick. It honestly came as such a surprise and it made me even more proud to be in our division!! Seattle Rally is definitely an event that every member hoping to get a closer look and more involved with Key Club throughout their high school years should go to and I hope that in the upcoming years, more and more people from our division will attend!
