Greetings from the Lt. Governor

The last day to send in your club’s dues is December 1st which is rapidly approaching, so spread the word about Key Club throughout your school. All of our 7 schools have put in a tremendous amount of service hours dedicated to helping those in need so be proud of all you accomplished! Now is a great time to start thinking about how you can fundraise for our District project, KCCP to contribute to our District goal of $75,000. We are getting near election season for the next Lieutenant Governor of our amazing Division. I am incredibly thankful to have been given this opportunity to unite our division under service as well as serve as a liaison between the district level and club level! If you are interested in becoming the next Lieutenant Governor, please fill out the Interest Form located on the Division 44 of the Pacific Northwest Facebook page as soon as possible. Monthly Goals As a Division, we met our October goal of raising $500 during Trick or Treat for UNICEF! For November, our primary goal as the dues deadline approaches will be to insure all clubs have at least 15 members registered in the Membership Update Center before December 1st. Last year we had a total of 424 members in our Division, can we surpass it?

October DCM At our November DCM, members from our 7 schools gathered together to carve pumpkins and decorate Halloween cookies. Even though the event only lasted for 90 minutes, members from all over our division had the chance to bond with one another through our passion to serve our communities world-wide.

Builders Club For the first time, Division 44 is now home to a Builders Club! Our new Builders Club is located at Mcloughlin Middle School, near Fort Vancouver High School. Since our MiddleSchoolers are still organizing their club, they won’t be joining us at our DCM’s or other service events until they can get situated. “Builders Club is the largest service organization for middle school and junior high students, with more than 45,000 members worldwide.” “Members learn to work together and develop servantleaders skills as they serve their school and community. In partnership with UNICEF and March of Dimes, the clubs are able to expand their outreach to babies and children of the world.” –buildersclub.org

Distinguished Member Rachel Carpenter has been one of the most dedicated members I have seen so far as an officer. This is Rachel's first year in Key Club and she's already been incredible. Not only has Rachel shown up to every single meeting and service opportunities, she has shown heart and dedication at each event. She's always on time and honestly, she gets to events and meetings even before the officers show up. It's crazy to think she's only a sophomore. She always gives her 100%! It is hard to come across students as willing as Rachel is. Rachel never fails to disappoint us. As an officer, I am extremely proud and excited for what Rachel has been doing.
