Division 44, My initial goal of uniting the division through service is well on the way to success, and I cannot express how proud I am of the schools that have already started working together. Also, having seen the success of the Nepal Fundraiser, and all of your efforts to raise a massive amount of money in one short week, I now have another goal. I think that if we as a division, can continue improving interclub relations, we can make a significant dent in our District goal of raising $75,000 for The Eliminate Project. I know that we can do it, because every one of you is amazing and dedicated, and together anything is possible. ALSO, I want to see as many people as possible at Portland Rally, and will look into a bus up to Seattle Rally if there’s enough interest, and enough attendance at Portland Rally. In caring and service, Stuart Sardo

What up 44! May has been one heck of a month with AP Testing, prepping for ACTs and SATs, or if you’re a senior, coping with leaving. Key Club is losing some amazing seniors this year, but hopefully CKI is gaining some phenomenal freshmen. Regardless of the hectic nature of May, it’s over, and now it’s time to get down to business this summer, and have some serious fun(draising)! This summer is going to be a blast with rally season kicking off, and I think we can save babies at the same time! I will be going to ICON (International Convention) later this month, and plan to bring back some awesome ideas to improve our division and community, and I can’t wait to see what we can come up with as a Division

Graduate Goodbyes Key Club means just as much to me as the next person. Thanks to my peers introducing me to the club, I put in many hours of volunteering which granted me experiences I'll never forget; ranging from meeting new people, to expanding my volunteer opportunities. Kevin Black│UHS Senior Anav Gagneja│MVHS Senior Key Club gave me the opportunity to bring out the best in my community and myself while connecting with other amazing individuals doing the same Ellie Tran│UHS Senior

Key club allowed me to slowly step out of my comfort zone. When people join Key Club, this is what they hope for. You can’t just hope for it to happen though, you have to push yourself to do it. I started pushing myself by attending volunteering events and going to the DCMs while trying to talk to new people. Key Club not only open the possibilities for me but also opened the door to my heart to some of the most amazing and passionate people heart emoticon heart emoticon heart emoticon NO KEY CLUB NO LYFE

Key club can be whatever you want it to be. As a freshmen I made it a club I could write on my resumes but I'm so happy that over the years, the upperclassmen I looked up to along with my friends (old and newly made through Key Club) have made my experience very enriching!

Emily Joy │CHS Senior

Christina Chow│UHS Senior

Over the past four years of high school, Key Club has been a place of friendship, inspiration, and growth. I have grown as a leader and as an active volunteer in the community, gaining compassion and a broader view of the world.

BREAKING

NEWS

Due to the hard work, long hours of volunteering, and dedication of thousands of members of Key Club International just like you have helped ELIMINATE MNT from yet anther country. While we are not yet at our goal, we are gaining on it, and we need to make a final and valiant effort this last year to finish the fight. We got this.

Preferred Charity

UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.

Cords for a Cause

Paracord Bracelet Eliminate Colors $4.00

The Eliminate Project

At the May DCM, we made about 50 paracord bracelets in about an hour. Making these bracelets is a fun bonding experience since it takes two people to efficiently make one. Also, they are just plain stylish, not to mention they can be unraveled into survival cord if you’re in an “unsavory” situation. Finally and most importantly, 100% of the funds go to saving babies. For these reasons, we are going to continue making/selling these to raise money and awareness for The Eliminate Project.

Division 44 Eliminate Initiative-

Having seen what the Beastly Butterflies can do so early in my term, I want to encourage a new main focus for Division 44. Although The Eliminate Project has already been our District Project, I believe that 44 can make a larger impact that ever before if every club and member puts in the effort and participates in/creates innovative ideas. Let’s save some babies.

Meet Your Divisional Team! Hello fellow Key Clubbers, my name is Chemay Shola. I am currently a sophomore at Camas High School. This year I am your divisional communications director (divcom for short). I'm so excited to be your divcom and what lays ahead for our wonderful division! Go beastly butterflies! Chemay SholaCommunications Director chemay.shola@gmail.com

Hi, my name is Avegail Avila. I was born in the Philippines and moved here when I was 3 (I visit back every 2 years or so). Key Club is a very big deal for me because I’ve been in a third world country and my family there struggles every day so I want to help those who cant help themselves. I enjoy playing soccer, tennis, and watching Netflix. My favorite pass time is reading and arts and crafts. I’m so excited to be a bigger part of key club and spread spirit around 44!
