Greetings from the Lieutenant Governor Elect

Hey Key Clubbers! First of all, DCON IS SO CLOSE! The excitement is real, and I hope you're all counting down to it like I am. This means that not only is there less than a month until DCON but there's also only less than a month until I take office as your new Division 44 lieutenant governor! You may have heard this from me about a million times but I am absolutely thrilled to take office along with all the great new officers of clubs in the division. On a sad note, as you were reading this you may have already realized that this is Alyssa’s last divisional newsletter. That being said, I feel so extremely blessed to be passed on the torch from such an incredible person that I have gotten to know better throughout the past couple weeks. She has done an astounding job leading our division and I could not be more proud, as all of you must be as well. If you see Alyssa this month or anytime soon be sure to thank her for all the hard work she has put in because she deserves it! Nonetheless, I cannot wait to work with you guys this year and certainly…I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL DCON!

March DCM March 24th from 4:30pm-6:00pm at Cascade Park Community Library

Can you believe its already time for DCON? If you are a DCON attendee, it is required you attend this event to pay for spirit gear and prepare for the amazing weekend ahead. Please have your money in exact change ready to go. In addition to spirit gear, we will be creating tutus, hug me signs and more for our DCON attendees! If you are a nonattendee, feel free to still come and hang out with your divisional friends.

LAST Greeting from the Lt. Governor

Time flies when you’re having fun! When I think back on the years I’ve been in Key Club, it just doesn’t seem like there was enough. In a few weeks, I will be retiring as your Lieutenant Governor. Thank you all for making my term as amazing as it gets and for your endless support throughout the year. I hope I was able to help your clubs, supply you with the tools you need for success and inspire you to serve your communities each day. It was an incredible honor to have served you, and I wish all of you the best of luck on your journey’s ahead wherever life guides you. I could not be more proud of what our Division has accomplished this year. Embrace your next Lieutenant Governor Ishu with welcoming arms and reach out to her during her term. She is an incredibly sweet, passionate and determined girl with tons of ideas for how to ensure the success of our Division. I have no doubt in my mind she will create a lasting impact on our Division during this upcoming year.

In Care and Service, Alyssa Libak 2016-2017 Division 44 Lieutenant Governor

Monthly Goals Hello Beastly Butterflies! DCON is finally in the near future and we have tons to prepare for! First, if you ordered spirit gear, you will need to pay for it at our March DCM. Let’s enter the 2017 District Convention as the amazing, spirited Division I know we are and receive that spirit stick! Secondly, continue to raise funds for our District project Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program (KCCP) before DCON to help develop research for fighting cancer. In Care and Service, Alyssa Libak

February DCM At our February DCM, members from both Division 44 and 45 gathered together for some fun-filled activities! During our jeopardy game and scavenger hunt, everyone got to know each other a little bit better, and grow as a key club community.

Distinguished Member For the month of March, I would like to nominate Jenna Krause as member of the month. Her enthusiasm in attendance at the Father-Daughter Valentine's Day dance in February was much appreciated. She did an outstanding job in the face painting area, working well with all of the young kids. We are glad to have her and her passion for volunteering in the EHS Key Club!
