Architectural | Computational Designer
is driven by a profound appreciation for the beauty found in the ordinary facets of daily life. Drawing inspiration from moments created by interaction between people, music, arts, culture, nature, and the built environment. he continuously seeks to celebrate the elegance inherent in the mundane.
His work as a designer is fueled by lessons learned from industry experts and a relentless pursuit of innovation and creativity, with a keen focus on infusing purpose, function and aesthetic significance into every project.

LUCAS MUSEUM OF NARRATIVE ARTS
is a museum founded by filmmaker George Lucas and his wife, Mellody Hobson. The museum’s nearly 300,000 square-foot building will be five levels and include 100,000 square-feet of dedicated gallery space, a library, dedicated learning studios, two theaters, a restaurant, a café, and an event space, and will sit on 11 acres of new park space
Design Architect: MAD Studio
Architect of Record: Stantec
Landscape Architect: MLA
Structural Engineers: Lera, Thorton Tomasetti
General Contractor: Hawthaway Dinwiddie
Facade Sub-contractor: Martin Bros (my role)
SECONDARY TRUSS DEVELOPMENT
Part of the secondary truss team responsible for truss development, comprise of 182 pairs, which constitute the support for facade system. The team utilizes Rhino Grasshopper scripting, extensive truss tracking system of various stages via Gsheet and Excel, clash analysis, qa/qc, documentation for fabrication, assembly and installation.

STORYPOLE - BUILDING DEFLECTION TRACKING SYSTEM
The storypole system is utilized to track the movement at over 800 points across the structure and predicting the building’s deflection at specific moments, facilitating the installation of secondary trusses and exterior panels.
Co-led the storypole team and developed the system, processes and tools. This role entails extensive field coordination and scheduling, as well as, data management and processing using Gsheets, Excel, and Rhino-Grasshopper to generate target positions for truss and panel installation.
Co-lead weekly coordination meetings for storypole and truss installation, involving the computational design team, field team, and external consultants, ensuring everyone remains aligned and on schedule.

STORYPOLE AVERAGING STRATEGY
The strategy is driven by the structural characteristics of the building and the trusses, where the construction dead-load and completed dead-load is taken into account.
Each area behaves differently depending on the condition. The strategy is utilized to eliminate “noises” or “outliers” caused weather and human errors. The goal is to achieve a smooth panel transition and joint alignment between the bays.

SECONDARY TRUSS SURVEY
Is used to understand the relationship between of the virtual (design truss position) and reality (real-time truss position).
Co-lead, manage, planning, scheduling and assignment for the truss survey team & the storypole team to attain the installed truss and building position at the targeted truss location.
The data is analyzed for comparison between surveys to understand the truss movement and discover any potential fabrication or installation error.
To develop solution, execute and provide guidance to the field team for any fixes required in advance to ensure meeting the panel installation deadline.

AS-BUILT POSITION
PROPOSED POSITION: TO MOVE C51T_L_Tb_004_2D_WI_P01 1" NORTH
The survey showed that the installed tab position is too far South to accommodate the connection from secondary to tertiary system. Proposed position is to move the tab 1” North to meet the connection tolerance.

LAX AUTOMATED PEOPLE MOVER
“The Automated People Mover (APM) is the centerpiece of LAX’s $5.5 billion Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP) which will enhance the traveler experience, give guests time-certain access to terminals and provide the long-awaited connection to the regional transportation system. The electric train system features a 2.25-mile elevated guideway with six stations total” - LAWA

INTEGRATED CAMPUS DESIGN
The LAX APM Project design includes the following facilities:

MAINTENANCE & STORAGE FACILITY (MSF)
Design & Production
Part of the design and production team for the MSF, hostler platform, trainwash facility, station canopy, and the station interface between LAX AMP and LA Metro. Responsible for the station canopy and station interface design development and detailing under the guidance of the technical director. Joined at 30 percent design development and submitted for IFC (issued for construction).
BIM Lead
Weekly coordination calls - horizontal, vertical team & consultants. Manage - linked cads for civil, roadway, site lighting, guideway, landscape - linked revit for mep, pds, structural, metal panel, glazing & guideway. In charge of bim submittal, up keep the bim standards, eliminate unnecessary geometries to keep the model cleaned and organized.
Visualization Lead
In charge of the MSF visualization & Stand-alone Aesthetics Package.

CIRCULATION16,881
SEATTLE TACOMA AIRPORT PURSUIT
This expansion proposal revolves around the central atrium as a way of program organization. The central atrium acts as the main artery that disperses traffic to existing terminals, new retail, food & beverage, seatings, meditation space and lounges. Level 3 and above are adminstration spaces.

SEPULVEDA TRANSIT CORRIDOR PURSUIT
“The Sepulveda Transit Corridor is a two-phased planned transit corridor in Los Angeles, California. Its first phase aims to connect the San Fernando Valley to the Los Angeles Basin through the Sepulveda Pass. A second phase would further extend the line southwards to connect with Los Angeles International Airport. The corridor is intended to relieve the heavily congested I-405 freeway through Sepulveda Pass and provide a fast public transit option on this NorthSouth link. Proposed alternatives include heavy rail rapid transit (a subway) or a monorail line...” - LA Metro
Role: design, production & visualization lead
