Hello, my name is Bo - An Yang and I am from Taiwan. I am at the moment studying in Tunghai University, Landscape Architecture. I started in touched with nature when I was a kid while playing in the backyard of my house, which brought up my observation. I found my interest in public spaces while working on my studies in my studio classes. Creating a more comfort and friendly space for residents is now my primary studying goal. To reach this goal, I went to many countries to visit public spaces such as High Line Park in New York, the Pioneer Place in Seattle and the Keller Fountain Park designed by Lawrence Halprin in Portland. Also, I had a short internship in a landscape architecture firm owned by my teacher in school, and layed a groundwork in design methods and software skills. Not just only studied how to design but also learned how to construct. I also went to a landscape construction firm learned how to prune trees and transplant trees. I am sure that an internship will help me grow as a Landscape Architect, a student and as a person. I am looking forward to being a persone who can bring happiness to everyone in the world.

The former site of the Air Force headquarters was great of it's location and used to be the Industrial Research Institute of Taiwan Governor General's Office during the Japanese rule. After the national government entered, this space was taken over by the Air Force General Command. Due to the rapid development of the city, the Air Force command had to relocate to other place, the site became the idle space of the urban center, which fulled of old facilities and strange sense. The urban heat island effect happens continuously. In order to connect the east-west urban green belt axis, to set the site become a node of the axis the the priority of our design. The site is close to commercial heavy land, so it is also one of the design priorities to think about how to introduce young entrepreneurs to take root here. 4

In order to satisfy the needs of people from all walks of life, we tried to put various functions into the main building such as co-working spaces which is for young entrepreneurs and parks for those who like to stay along with flowers. 7
Transform aircraft elements into building patterns. Drill holes on wall in order to transfer heat into breeze.
Our main goal is to convert the noise of traffic, crowds and industries into pleasant voice. We are looking forward to making the site more friendly and gather people's laughter. We also tried to guide the sound of nature such as breeze and rain water, to make the site abound in natural asmosphere. At last, we hope to retrieve ecology which used to belongs to this place, not olny just enlarge green spaces in Taipei city but also increase more recreational spaces for residents and animals.

ISSUE The military base next to the fishing port of Kezailiao is now in a state of ruin and the base is closed to the outside world. The holiday fish market has seldom tourists except for weekends and important festivals. In addition to the aging of the fishing village population, young people are reluctant to stay in the old fishing villages for fishing.
? BEFORE The site is located between the fishing port and wetland education park. There is no connection between the two. 11
AFTER We give the site several functions, including restaurants and plazas, using these elements to plan a series of activities to promote sightseeing and increase visitors' stay time.

Sea Fishing Platform Detail design Tourists have to enter the sea fishing platform before going sea fishing. Tourists will receive life jacket at the service center and board the boat at the sea fishing dock. There are some retails saling fresh seafood snacks and a fish descaling center to demonstrate how to descale fish.

基地軸線明顯，黃色區塊以台北車站為原點收尾於北門，綠色區塊以淡水 河為原收尾於台北車站，兩區塊平行軸線則為此基地的東西樣軸線。未來 設計將依循此軸線來強化北門意象。

This sidewalk combines railway styled trellies and historical walls. We use railway styled for trellies in order to make the shadow appears in railway shape. Also, use metal sheets to connect trellies together.

Taipei Main Station Frontdoor Plaza Detail Design Using two different colors of paving to sepatate types of spaces. Light color paving is for walking through but dark color paving is for people to stay and relax. Adding color red makes the space more active. The shape of sitting area is also work in concert with the shape of the paving, which made the whole space more consistently.

03 Other Works 2016 Tunghai University Christmas Installation Art This project runs between October to December in 2016. The whole class was devided into groups, every group has to build a installation art which is related with Christmas. Our group decided to build a cocoon by wooden sticks and translucent ropes that represents a new born life. During the production process I learned how to work as a leader in a team work, encluding how to combine opinions and distribute jobs.
