Gol-ghar concept has a strong meaning. gurungs has their far better sight for the living concept and sustaining it from a serious factor which includes a natural threat “Earthquake” The round house has a shape such to resist earthquake, so it is mostly found in the hazard prone area, in the upper portion from the sea-level The structure is more resistance in earthquake factors due to its shape and size and structurally sound. due to its round, the people living in that house can intereact with sun lights to feel warm and take advantages over it, especially when there is a child birth in home, the child get more vitamin d from sun. at past days, people dont know how to earn money and due to illiteracy, and poor concept in designing, people use the living pattern style and made golghar for living only, mostly people are dependent on agriculture and they made such kind of home ,where they can store large number of their grains and vegetables in that pattern.

there are some factors to be considered while designing the house concept and inner part of the room. measurement were taken by us and detail arrangement were made for planning and on the way of palpa , another just like a gol ghar type house were found near dobhan, kusum khola*on the way*
