The Hampshire & IOW Local Criminal Justice Board’s (LCJB) vision is to deliver in partnership, a fair, effective and efficient Criminal Justice System, focusing on the service given to victims and witnesses of crime, prevention and rehabilitation of offenders in order to make Hampshire and the Isle of Wight a place where people will feel safe to live, work and visit. The LCJB work together to achieve this by challenging and holding each other to account with honesty, energy and transparency. The LCJB strive to be ambitious and innovative for the people they serve, and as appropriate influence at a national level. Partners work hard developing positive relationships across the CJS to add collective value and unblock perceived and real issues within the system.

Priorities and Delivery 2017-18 Priorities are determined on an annual basis and progress is monitored at bi-monthly meetings through the year.
Priority 1 - Improve the service delivered to Victims & Witnesses Priority 2 - Reduce re-offending and reduce crime Priority 3 - Deliver an effective and efficient criminal justice system
A number of activities are identified within these three priorities for which delivery will be supported by three strategic delivery groups, Victims & Witness Group, Offender Management Strategy Group and Wessex Criminal Justice System Efficiency Board.
