INTRO Here is a collection of my favorite healthy smoothie recipes ever. In fact, let’s just call them the greatest of all time. There are three categories: Protein Shakes, Raw Juice Smoothies, and Regular Juice Smoothies. Each and every one of these recipes has been tried, tested, and are all friggin delicious. I have no doubt that you’ll love them just as much as I do!
The only equipment you’ll need to make most of them is a blender but the raw juice smoothies do require a juicer. I’m going to try to stay green and not waste a bunch of paper here…BUT you should know that I’m pretty lazy…so I didn’t feel like writing the word organic before every ingredient. I also didn’t list anything as sugar free, corn free, soy free, or artificial/processed ingredient free because I know you’re smart enough not to throw any of the crap into your smoothie in the first place ☺ Now that we’ve cleared that up, enjoy the smoothies!

PROTEIN SHAKES The Halle Berry Ingredients 30g My Favorite Whey Protein (or your favorite brand, this is mine) ½ cup plain, lowfat greek yogurt ½ cup sliced strawberries ½ cup sliced raspberries 1 cup ice cubes ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract (pure, not flavored syrup) Directions Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.
Cherry Blast Ingredients 1 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk 1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein 1 Tbsp Ground Flax 1/3 Cup frozen unsweetened cherries ½ Cup raw Spinach 1 Tbsp Natural Peanut or Almond Butter. Directions Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

Gingerbread Cookie Ingredients 4 ice cubes 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein 1/2 tsp ginger 1 sprinkle ground cloves 1- 6oz. cup vanilla greek yogurt 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk 1/2 scoop Chocolate meal replacement powder Directions Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.
Healthy Bahama Mama Ingredients 30g My Favorite Whey Protein ½ cup pineapple chunks ž cup sliced mango 1 orange slice 1 lemon slice 1 teaspoon lime juice 1 cup ice cubes Directions Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

El Swolio Ingredients 30g My Favorite Whey Protein 1 banana 1 cup mixed berries 8 oz vanilla almond milk 1 slice of papaya 1 date Pinch of cinnamon 2 cups ice cubes Directions Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

Ingredients 2-4 scoops Cake Batter Protein Powder 1 handful raw cashews 1 cup mixed frozen berries 1-2 dates 1 banana Âź cup coconut milk Handful raw organic spinach (trust me on this one) 1 tsp cacao nibs Dash of cinnamon Directions Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

Mocha Rocket Fuel Ingredients 2-4 scoops chocolate protein powder 1-2 tsp instant coffee 1 tsp cacao nibs 16-24 oz of water or chocolate flavored almond, hemp, or rice milk (depending on your caloric needs) As much ice as desired Directions Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.
Chocolate Chip Mint Ingredients 2-4 scoops chocolate protein powder 2 fresh mint leaves 1 tsp cacao nibs 16-24 oz of water or chocolate flavored almond, hemp, or rice milk (depending on your caloric needs) As much ice as desired Directions Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

The Hardgainer Cure Ingredients 2-4 scoops My favorite whey protein 1 handful raw cashews 6 dates 1 banana 1 tsp cacao nibs 1 tbsp peanut butter ½ cup raw rolled oats Dash of cinnamon 16-24 oz chocolate hemp milk As much ice as desired Directions Combine all ingredients in blender. Banana Split Ingredients 30g My Favorite Whey Protein 1 cup almond milk ½ cups pineapple chunks 5 frozen strawberries 1½ cups frozen banana slices 1½ to 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (to taste) Directions Pour milk into the blender first. Add cocoa and then fruit. Put cover on and blend until smooth.

RAW JUICE SMOOTHIES I believe that the regular use of fresh vegetable and fruit juices are one of the best ways to help our bodies function at their peak. Here are some of my favorite raw juice recipes to help you get started:
Nature’s Antacid Ingredients ½ head of cabbage 2 carrots Sliced ginger root 1 handful of spinach 1tbsp aloe vera juice 3 sprigs fresh parsley Directions Chop up the fruit and/or vegetables and place them in a juicer. Be sure to thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruit, especially if they were not organically grown. Drink within 15-30 minutes.
Fountain Of Youth Ingredients 5 carrots 1 large handful of kale 1 large handful of spinach ½ head of cabbage 3 sprigs fresh parsley 1 beet (include the tops) 1 clove of peeled garlic Directions Chop up the fruit and/or vegetables and place them in a juicer. Be sure to thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruit, especially if they were not organically grown. Drink within 15-30 minutes.

Green Machine Ingredients ½ chopped sweet potato 1 large handful of kale 1 carrot ½ pear (peel if not grown organically) 1 apple (peel if not grown organically) Pinch of ginger Directions Chop up the fruit and/or vegetables and place them in a juicer. Be sure to thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruit, especially if they were not organically grown. Drink within 15-30 minutes.
Tooty Fruity Ingredients ½ cup blackberries ½ cup raspberries 1 green apple (peel if not grown organically) 1 small bunch of red grapes 1 firm kiwi (peeled) ½ banana Directions Chop up the fruit and/or vegetables and place them in a juicer. Be sure to thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruit, especially if they were not organically grown. Drink within 15-30 minutes.

Energy Shot Ingredients 6 carrots 2 stalks of celery 1 apple (peel if not grown organically) ½ beet (include the tops) ½ handful of wheatgrass ½ handful of parsley Directions Chop up the fruit and/or vegetables and place them in a juicer. Be sure to thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruit, especially if they were not organically grown. Drink within 15-30 minutes.

REGULAR JUICE SMOOTHIES If raw juicing isn’t your thing you can try the following ‘non-hardcore’ juice smoothies instead.
Joe The Plumber Ingredients 2 peaches 1 quarter strawberries, hulled 1 banana, broken into chunks 1 cup peach or mango juice 2 cups ice Directions Combine strawberries, banana and peaches in a blender and blend until smooth. Blend in the juice. Add ice and blend to desired consistency. Be sure to thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruit, especially if they were not organically grown. Drink within 15-30 minutes.
Blackberry Jack Ingredients 3/4 cups apple juice 1/2 cups plain yogurt 1½ cups frozen blackberries 1 banana Directions Combine all ingredients into blender, including yogurt, and blend until smooth. Be sure to thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruit, especially if they were not organically grown. Drink within 15-30 minutes.

Cantaloupe Cherry Crush Ingredients ½ cantaloupe (peeled, seeded, and sliced) ½ cups apple or apricot juice 3 pitted cherries ¼ cups raspberries or blackberries 4 ice cubes Directions Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Be sure to thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruit, especially if they were not organically grown. Drink within 15-30 minutes.
